Hi, I know a lot of the Promo cards were release promos, but a few aren't. Does anyone remember where Dark Asteroid and Astro Prince came from?

I was actually just going to post about this. You'd think they'd be a little more common than they are, since they're promos.

As far as I remember, they were prizes in the final run of tournaments before the game was discontinued.

The dothack wiki makes mention of this for Astro Prince (which I'm pretty sure was the first place prize).

Quote:
The rarest ENEMY card is also one of the overall best monsters in the game. It boasts a strength of 3, the maximum Destiny of 5, is storable, has no play requirements, and has a decent reward. Its Reward makes the user skip hand reconciliation, meaning the user can choose not to draw extra cards if he or she has less than 5 cards or choose not to discard cards if he or she has more than 5 cards.

If anyone knows any other way that they were obtained, feel free to correct me.

Other than those, the promotional Helba 2.0 oversized card (4M1) was given at select conventions as advertising for the new expansion set. The card isn't even mentioned on the wiki because of how rare it is, but if people are interested here, I can take a picture of it beside a regular Helba 2.0 and post it.
