I'm wondering whether or not there are such a thing as "shadowless" trainers and energies for the Base Set cards?

If so, how do you identify them?

There are such things as shadowless trainers and energies. It's harder to identify a shadowless trainer card, but the way I can tell is by the dates on the bottom of the card. The unlimited series have the dates "1995,96,98" printed on the bottom of the card. Shadowless cards have the dates "1995,96,98,99."
