Do you mean "Do Spell cards your opponent controls count towards the number of cards your opponent controls?". They do. The effect of The Wicked Eraser states "The ATK and DEF of this card are each equal to the number of cards your opponent controls × 1000." It does not state any particular type of cards, which means it refers to ANY type of card that your opponent controls.
Examples:
1. Your opponent controls 2 Monsters in their Monster Card Zone, and one Set card in their Spell and Trap Card Zone - your The Wicked Eraser will have 3000 ATK.
2. Your opponent has a single face-up Metal Reflect Slime in their Monster Card Zone. Even though it takes up both a Monster Card Zone slot and a Spell and Trap Card Zone slot, it is still only a single card under your opponent's control - your The Wicked Eraser will have 1000 ATK.
There is another aspect of The Wicked Eraser's effect that you should be aware of: The Wicked Eraser also counts ALL spells and traps your opponent controls, including cards such as Normal spells and Ritual spells, which are only under your opponent's control for a short time (the time between their activation and their resolution). This may not seem particularly important most of the time, but there are certain scenarios where it does matter.
Example:
It is your opponent's Main Phase 1. They control no cards. You control a face-up The Wicked Eraser and a face-up Marshmallon. The Wicked Eraser's ATK is currently 0. Your opponent activates a Normal spell, Fissure. You might think that The Wicked Eraser would be destroyed, as it has 0 ATK (and is therefore the face-up monster you control with the lowest ATK). However, this is not the case - Marshmallon will be destroyed instead. Why is this? Because when your opponent activated Fissure, your The Wicked Eraser's ATK became 1000. Therefore, when Fissure is resolving, Marshmallon is the monster with the lowest ATK. As soon as Fissure has finished resolving, and gets sent to the graveyard by game mechanics, The Wicked Eraser's ATK will once again be 0.
