Subject: Keep Your Trade Lists Organized   PostPosted: Tue Mar 11, 2014 3:16 pm Reply with quote

Hey everyone,

Please make sure to keep your haves and wants lists well organized and as up to date as possible.

By that I mean, you should list cards that you acutally have on hand and cards you actually want at the present time.

This helps dilute unnecessary probe messages like, hey do you have these, or hey i have these cards you want.

Furthermore, it makes you look professional by maintianing a clean and organized virtual trade binder that reflects cards you want and have in real life.

Also, please do not list any cards that may have considerable damage or reflect poor condition, as you will only receive a negative trade evaluation afterwards.

Nobody likes getting beat up cards in the mail, especially if you have to wait for an extended amount of time just to recieve them.

So the takeaway from this should be:

clean binder = good trade
messy binder = bad trade.

Thanks for the read. Smile

I have ran into situations where people are trying to trade cards that they cannot find or are expecting to receive them through the mail from someone else, we all have...

One thing I would like to add, I call card fishing, its posting a card for trade but having requirements for that trade, an example would be something like owning a ghost rare Black Rose Dragon but not trading it unless that trade meets a certain criteria of cards that you need. I think this is acceptable and most of us expect this with certain cards like Number 101, Evilswarm Exciton Knight, many of the ghost rares and so on. Not having the cards you say you do is way different than not trading them the first chance you get.

another thing i would like to add is please keep your trade binders current.

that means if you have traded away a card and it still says you have that card in your haves list, people will ask you if that card is for trade. and the obvious response will be that you have traded it away or you no longer have said card.

so please try to keep your haves and wants lists well maintained, organized, and current, it really helps.

thanks for the input snoofy.
