This looks like a really amazing deck list. I especially like the fact that it utilizes Shores of the Starry Blockade , as I feel that is an underplayed card right now (you even almost had it as a 2-of!) This also looks super fun to play against because it doesn't use stall tactics like some Shardfolk decks do. 5/5

Tears for the Old World In the discussion on the Dream Card "Tears for the Old World" by horchata United States

quote from exodus:

Your opponent playing Vortex at the end of your Draw Phase is arguably the best time for them to play it. Assuming this card is meant to counter Vortex at that time (any time, really, but especially then), you'll have 3 extra energy that turn that would normally get discarded anyway. Unless you're paying costs for other cards like Forest of Crags or Unsummon, this is essentially a card with no cost, which is pretty strong to save creatures without a Deck Recycle of some sort. I'd suggest making the cost 2 or 3 energy. Or perhaps something different, like send a creature on your field to the graveyard (energy remains in play)?

It's true that during this specific example it would be as if Tears for the Old World has no cost, but at the same time, it isn't that strong of a card to begin with.

This card is specifically designed to allow players to expand their strategies with new combo's that take more time to set up. The biggest flaw I see with Vortex (from a design standpoint) is that it makes strategies that take almost any setup at all useless.

The major strong point of Vortex (that I've seen) is that it forces a player to do a turn with no energy. This card doesn't change that, it just makes it easier for a strategy that needs several cards to snowball to be relevant as a strategy.

Name Ideas:
- Luxumbrae the Eclipsing Angel (unchanged),
- Luxcis the Eternal Eclipse,

Ability: Twilight's Harmony
Pay 2 energy when this creature is summoned. Then, each player selects one creature on their field and sends it to the bottom of their Main Deck and returns all energy attached to the owner's hand.

I just want to say what an outstanding first card review this is. You've done your favorite card a great honor! The only thing I would disagree with is where you said after more sets have been released, this card's effect will be left to the Tides... haha, I like the analogy, but I take this as a challenge as one of the game designers. Power creep will be avoided due to the fact that creature's don't have built-in numbers for base power; there will be an unlimited amount of new and interesting effects that will expand the game's card pool and offer interesting and new ways to play. So, fortunately, I don't believe this guy will ever be obsolete. As long as you want to use him in a deck and play it skillfully, you'll have a winning finisher!

Starship Corroglacia Exodus In the discussion on the Deck "Starship Corroglacia" by exodus Miembro Premium United States send message

On the contrary, running 4 creatures in this game is generally a very bad idea. This is more of a "for fun" deck than a competitive deck, which is why Twisted Vortex is in there (which 99.9% of players won't have access to and isn't necessary for this type of deck either). The idea actually came from a 1st Place deck in San Diego, credit goes to Mark Lee, and he was playing a few more creatures and some different symmetry cards, but the skeleton is there.

I mean the general power of this deck comes from twisted vortex and unsummon, not the creatures themselves. I don't know what decks other people were running, but in general, if you run unsummon and a decent amount of card draw so that you can use it multiple times in a match, you would probably do well... Running a deck with less creatures than symmetries is actually a good idea, which you learn after playing the game for a while, so it isn't that *uncommon* for a deck to have only 4, especially if they're all ability creatures.

It's interesting, minus the "horizontal" part. Just like with cards that affect things until the end of the turn, you can simply remember to return those Commons to your hand. Horizontal cards look like tapped cards, and there is no tapping in the game. Also, what happens to the energy each gains by this effect after the creatures are sent back to the hand? Do you keep the extra energy? Do they get discarded back to the Energy Deck?

quote from cyrusdarke:

quote from exodus:

Awesome concept, name and Ability. Two questions about the Ability: do you get to choose the opposing creature that is destroyed too? Does the effect destroy all energy attached to both creatures?

Each player chooses the creature they control to destroy. Yes, the energy goes, too.

In that case, very nice

Hey, cool deck idea! But you cannot have 4x Alana the Star Formation. The SR version is the same name as the Rare version, so you can only have a total of 2 max. Replace 2 of them with something else and you'll be set.

This deck is currently illegal. You have 3 copies of Alana the Star Formation, when you can only have 2 max. They are the same card name and therefore the same card, even if they are different versions (altered art, rarity, etc.).

Take 1 out and it will be great.

I only played against it once so far, but I would suggest taking 1 or 2 cards out for either an Unsummon or a Reversion .
