the absolute beauty of a dream card is its ability to go outside the norm - too much makes a bad card - just a little makes a DREAM card - i like it

mind monster - consider something you have done in your early existence - that can not be changed - no matter what - .........and then try to change it - a totally black card would work for me

Excellent deck, you got a 5 star rating from me, and if I could go out of ten, it would be a ten!! I love the combos in it, this is my kind of deck! The kind that keeps comboing and goes off all the time, and its very difficult ot stop! This style is how I play mtg in edh, and all other formats. I love endless turn after turn combos, those are epic!! This would be a real challenge, again WELL DONE!!!

First off a magic deck has to be a minimum of 60 cards, but has no maximum. Try to stay close to 60. You are allowed up to 4 of any card except basic lands, which there is no maximum. Also try to find a lot of cards that effects can be comboed in some way. Hope this helps and that you stick with magic.

Elf Smash Magic: The Gathering In the discussion on the Deck "Elf Smash" by heavensflame United States send message

I do not appreciate what you had to say about this, I hope you realize I win 4/5 games NO MATTER WHAT I DRAW (EVERY SINGLE TIME I RUN IT). I have many, many themes, one is endless life gain, another is smash your face in uber fast, another is haste and combo off. I have recently added: 4x Heedless One, 2x Whirlwind, 4x joraga warcaller, and 2x quest for renewal. How can it not have a theme!? I would like to know, for I have spent about...15 years making this deck. 15 YEARS!!!! I also added a better win combo then craterhoof behemoth... I use now 2x Ezuri, the Renegade Leader for smashing power overall. Point is, I see your comments are pointless, for this deck wins almost every single game it ever has played. And, it has played like 18 games...so far, and won 15/18 SO FAR. You cannot tell me it wont do well, for it owns face. Either way, I wont respect what you got to say, I am choosing not to. I play all formats but standard for casual for this deck... I win pretty much all format games. Against nearly all deck ideas. I do not lose a lot with it, it is a UBER ownage deck. And, to be nice but honest: My planeswalkers (nissa revane) does not need to go off for me to win. They are a distraction, to buy me time and make sure I can guarantee a death kill for the opponent (s). Thanks for nothing, thanks for ruining my best deck idea and concept ever... I do not appreciate it. SORRY. And, I have dreamt of having a great legacy elf deck since I started, I have been playing about 18 years of magic and 15 of that is spent playing Elves, so I KNOW the power cards. If anyone does, it is ME. I only recently found a way to get the best cards for this deck...it took me literal years.

Dragons command Magic: The Gathering In the discussion on the Deck "Dragons command" by grimreaperjoe69 United Kingdom send message

I just LOVE the idea youre going for, I would recommend only 2 cards off the top of my head... If you do not have it, a lot of EDH players run a lot of artifacts, and I would highly, HIGHLY recommend 1x dragon tyrant (you gain control of ALL artifacts, permanentally, whenever it does even one point of attack damage. Best Control against artifacts ever.) Also, I would suggest getting of each of these: Berserk (any legal set, you will have to shell out ALOT of money for one, but it is SOOOO worth it, TRUST ME!) and Vedalken Orrery. V. Orrery makes it so you can cast your whole deck at instant speed, another form of haste. HEHE. You cant get enough haste in EDH dragons, its all about haste, and effects. Also, do you happen to be able to get a copy of Kilnmouth Dragon. You need one very badly. for it is a win condition. A uber win condition if you have haste...Therefore, the more haste, the better off ya are. If you want to, plz check out my Jund EDH dragon smash deck..... I know you will like it, I usually win about every game I run with it. It (so far, been a couple months so far made this way it is now) so far has won over 90% of its games. Course, I run black/red/green combo dragons. Not all about smashing, or control. It is about Power, and who has the Power. When I run it, I get targeted a lot, cuz I run such nasty concepts. But, that just means im doing something right. The more hate you draw, the better your deck is. I love your idea, just a few little things to spruce it up and make it OP.

In all honesty there is 2 cards i want to replace with 1 priest of Titania and 1 immaculate magistrate, but other then that this deck is very fast and gets very powerful to the point i don't have to worry about to much.

cant touch this Magic: The Gathering In the discussion on the Deck "cant touch this" by kens United States send message

Its a ok start to a standard deck, however your buffups are until end of turn, they are not permanent. You can run cards for permanent counters, that would be far more preferable to one use and its gone....Permanent is the way to go. Also, the frostwalker has to go. It is the lament effect in history of MTG, at least in my experienced combination eye. Target it and it dies!? Why even play this card, when it will never get a hit in!? It just goes away, and is not worth its effect...AT ALL. I would never use this card, nor should any experienced player use it, for it is THAT BAD. It is horrifyingly bad for a blue card. The main card I like in this deck is: Mindswipe. That is an amazing card, I have never seen it. I really like the effect, it is very very useful. To me, that is the best card in the whole deck, the rest are....meh, ok, theyre ok. But this deck, in my nearly professional opinion, needs a major revamp and should be reworked so it has more haste, and permanent counters instead of temporary power/toughness buffs. Permanent is how you win the game, not til end of turn effects. I know you are going for a control burn but you really need more burn. Id recommend (if its legal still in advanced format) a playset of searing blood. That is a true power card, it really is! It is amazing!!! Lightning strike is decent but could be replaced with Searing Blood (but, on another note, I do not know if that set is still in standard..if it is not please disregard that last suggestion). I am fairly certain it is in standard...but I have been wrong before. For permanent counters, you could try the Ordeal of Purphoros x4.... That works well for a lot of counters, and also additional burn effects to targets.
