Ron's Adventures Harry Potter In the discussion on the Deck "Ron's Adventures" by mathman1550 United States send message

I am not sure why there are decks posted that do NOT abide by the deck building rules in the RULE BOOK. Every deck must have a starting character (Witch or Wizard) and 60 additional cards. There have to be lesson cards included in order to activate (put into play) the cards for battle (creatures and spells) as well as items. Evidently, the four persons who rated the deck haven't read the Rule Book either. Of course, I may be wrong - maybe the rules have changed and the manufacturer forgot to send me the memo! Start over by reading the rule book. Purchasing a pre-constructed deck would help you see how a deck is constructed.

The first part of building a deck is READING the RULE BOOK. In it you will find that you must have at least one wizard (starting character) and a deck composed of 60 other cards which MUST include lesson cards with which you activate the other cards (creatures, spells, possessions). You need to start over once you have read the rule book. If you buy one of the pre-constructed decks you can get a good feel for how a deck is made.

The Harry Potter deck must have a Witch or Wizard starting character card and 60 other cards. Your deck has way too many cards. I suggest much fewer characters and fewer adventure cards.

Isn't 7 delivery owls illegal? Obviously they could just be swapped for increased numbers of other cards in the deck...

You are missing 2 cards in this deck. You need a 60 card deck plus your starting character (totaling 61). Also you are not allowed more than 4 copies of any one card besides lessons, so you cant have 5 Smash! cards or 5 Swarm! cards.
