It's a bit too strong kenji and does not follow the style of Shadow Paladin Bosses. Shadow Paladin Bosses retire their own rearguards to activate effects, not their opponents. If you want this to function you must retire your own.

1) grade 3s power is supposed to be 9, 10, or 11k. 12k if it's an instant then gone.
2) so basically your ultimate break is telling Platina to go and die?
3) -_- crossrides give +2k. not +5k/1c.

1) no image. I've never understood why people give out perfect ratings to dream cards that are not complete. If you have no image, then at best one should expect is a 4.
2) double skill. as it stands you're a perfect guard and a perfect guard recycling unit. do I really have to explain why that's an issue?
3) invalidation. this card completely invalidates all other forms of perfect guard. when creating a dream card one should be sure not to make current cards useless.

the limit break works as thus: at the end of your opponent's turn both units become unlocked. however, if you have 3 in the soul/ prison gate star-vader on the field you can relock the unit instantly. If this is done, the +5k power remains.
I.e- so long as a one of your opponent's front row rearguard slots is locked, you get +5k.

1) the entire skill is a rip off of Great Daiyusha.
2) only grade 0s may be triggers
3) there is only 1 base 12k grade 3, and that's a unit that's a burst mode for all intents and purposes.

1st thing- D. police do not self retire. if you want to have a cost like that send the units to the soul.
2nd thing- it needs a secondary effect if it only has an on ride skill.
3rd thing- the retire on rearguard circle is pointless. ditch it.

1) those who will always give things 5 because they don't understand how balancing works.
2) those who only care about their own work.
3) those who will never give a good rating ever.
4) those who honestly expect realistic effects from the dream cards.

So when asking for advice, expect a lot of fluff, and a lot of jerks.

1) since when was Narukami part of Star gate? get your details right.
2) that amount of soul charge in one go is absurd. even clans who focus on soul charging (DI, Genesis, OTT) either either have that as an on hit skill or a one time on ride skill.
3) making it a soul blast of 7 is a direct slap in the face to every Megablast ever created.
4) how many rearguards will actually have soul blast- and how many will be able to hit without boost?
5) Narukami -for the most part- only retires the front row OR it allows your opponent to choose/gain a benefit. This is its only actually decent skill and at current cost is far to light.
6) It does not fit within the major theme of Narukami.

there are several reasons I disagree with the design of this card even with your explanation. this may seem a bit harsh but please realize: being harsh is quite literally part of my job.

1) Seal Dragons themselves aren't about retirement.
Seal Dragons and Kagero have never been about retirement for benefit but instead to suppress. If this was a Narukami breakride, I would have no problem with it. but as it stands Seal dragons are about forcing your opponent's field to behave in a certain manner so as to force them to play a certain way or to destroy their back row completely. NOT to gain power through it. they actually tend to benefit more from the opponent having a decent field with grade 2 units active.

2) needlessly Complex cost.
A counterblast, a soul blast, and a discard? don't you find that's a bit much and a bit pointless? especially the soul blast since Seal dragons so far don't use the soul outside of the especial booster. And what does the soul blast actually add to the cost? there is only really 2 kagero units who use the soul: a superior ride unit and the megablaster. having a cost that involves the soul is superficial at best.
Then there is the discard cost. The point of breakrides are either to finish off the opponent or make a comeback. This become more difficult when you have to willingly give up resources in order to do it. your hand is the most important and vital resource in the game, and at many times when you are able to breakride you will have almost no hand left to speak of. For the effect of this card, that is a very detrimental cost as most kagero units that retire do it on call.

3) almost impossible to use properly.
The secondary effect of giving power and eventually crit (still find that inane) based off of retirement is almost impossible to use to it's full effect in a full seal dragon deck as only the starter, a single grade 2, and the crossride have that capability. under almost no circumstance would you actually be able to use this to your full benefit.

4) It doesn't mesh well.
Yes you could make the argument that since it gains power through retirement it would be a good fit for kagero, but as it stands in comparison to their current Break ride unit it doesn't combo as well with any of the aces. The one ace it actually does work well with is the Reverse unit but that still works better with it's crossbreak.


5) outside of the box does not mean outside of the theme.
Not many people actually notice this, but every clan follows one of 2 simple patterns: central lane power or rearguard power. even though Naruakmi has many bosses, again this unit would be more suited to them as it would fit the theme of many of their rearguards of gaining power through retirement of the enemy. Kagero on the other hand is a central lane clan that is mostly about advancing beyond the opponent quickly so as to insure superior force. This can be shown through the breakride, Overlord, the 3 ways to superior ride to grade 3 a turn early available, Georgette, and even the Blockade units.
