Angel, I know Freeze feels like binding. It's supposed to feel like it, as I also wanted a restricting mechanic without retiring. Dont know, just like the idea of a skill that world during both yours and your opp's turn that can be still worked around.

Glad you understood it. You see, as, I think, there won't probably be any re-Freezing cards, you will only have to face the cards you Freeze that turn, This not needing to remember anything. The upside-down is just an easy way to identify them, as I can't turn them backwards like when locked... The cards remain a part of the hand, So I think it d be les confusing for people if they kept them in their hand, though of course they would be able to place them somewhere signalled, as long as both partida agreed on it And the ruling was clear.

More than on the number of frozen cards, I'm thinking of making the side skills react to the Freeze itself, such as a version of Niobium. If i had to vary the skulls depending on the number of frozen cards it'd be hard And troublesome to work, such as Cyber Blader, with 4 or So effects.

The making it able to be used to Ride, is So that if opp gets gstuck or you superior ride(still havent decided if I'll make it) and you happen to Freeze the card he would have to ride, whatever the Grade, he can still ride. Freeze being able to make opp be gstuck, even by chance, would be a bit OP. Plus Freeze will be used over all mid-late game, so letting the opp ride frozen cards isnt a big deal.

Opp would be able to see the card if the frozen card was held backwards, but it is held upside down... You know, instead of head-toes, it's held toes-head, without revealing what card is it.

Nah I prefer targeting the hand, plus it makes both attacking And defending hard. And I like the concept of Freezing different cards. That's how I envision an Ice clan working, troubling the opponent in every move, And in turn, helping the user as if it was a wall, holding many attacks before they can reach the user.

Freeze lasts till your opp s end phase, bind ends at your own. I think that makes up for the restriction. Plus as I said bound cards can't be inserted, or used as cost, or swapped... Bind makes them inexistent, Freeze seals them from the RC And GC. That's quite a difference.

The point of Freezing is that it renders cards almost useless; they can't be called to RC or to GC, This weakening both offense and defense. That seems like a fair disadvantage for me. And, what do you mean by the opponent being able to see The frozen card? He would just see the back face of the card but upside down. Freezing doesn't reveal the card. And since the frozen cards have to remain a part of the hand but signalled in some way, I think this is the easiest way.

It still counts as part of your hand, though. And you can still send it to drop with a PG, discard them as a cost, or insert them in the soul. Also Ángel Feather would completely be able to bypass Freeze. A bound card is practically inexistant for you as long as it is bound. Freeze can be outdone with wits. Plus So far we havent had a selectively restricting mechanic, and I think this would be interesting.

Though I'm also considering making Freeze consisting of: As long as Freeze is active, all the cards that would be added to the opp s hand are bound, instead. That means no Twin Drive nor drawing, or if i give AN skills of bouncing the opp s RGs to his hand while Freeze is active, well... I think that s a bit more OP than current Freeze, but still giving it a think.

Plus, Dungaree's skill would activate as the Mate, binding 2 cards, as it would also be placed on VG circle. Combining Ouei, Legioning, regular Dungaree s skill and Stormy would give you an enormous Power up.

PS: And this comnent was also to see if my new pic had been uploaded.

If it s supposed to only have 2 skulls, not counting the plus 2k from Cross Riding, I'll remover the "remove CONT skulls" one And, to have using bound cards as a cost And not make the deck so CB heavy, I'll replace the cost with an un bind.

Here are some tips:
- With Nightmist, Brutal Shade and Nightsnow, you can make an all-powerful Break Ride the same turn you get to G3. Since there are only 2 Nightsnows, searching for him with Performing Zombie is a good idea. Stand Triggers work perfectly with the Break Ride or powered up via LB units.
- Stands are not totally uncompatible with the Legion. Restanding Arman, for example, gives you a 15k(at least) boost, 20 if it was called via Breakride, thus it can boost the newly called unit via Legion skill. Calling a Corrupt Dragon, G3 or Nightmist gives you crazy Numbers.
- So, when you Break ride, if you use Nightsnow, the VG gives the power, and the Stands, the numbers. If you are using Legion, Stands give you power while VG gives.numbers. Thus the best option tends to be powering up back row RGS when using Legion, and powering up the front row ones when using Nightsnow.

Hello fellow card fighters, this is the document that will tell you all you need to know about the upcoming cardfight vanguard online tournament(it is unofficial, meaning I don't own the website or the game). This tournament will be starting July 15th, and the last date for registering is is July 10th. The tournament will be held online on the website called www.tradecardsonline.com which I am am sure you are all familiar with. There will be 12-14 teams allowed.

The Rules:

. Each team must have either 3 or 4 members.
. Teams With 4 members will have to substitute, even if there are 2 teams of 4 playing against one another, therefor, there will be no ties(no player may be the substitute 2 games in a row unless there is a valid excuse).
. The following players are not allowed to participate in this tournament: baron and pinocchiotc.
.The ban list is the same as the Japanese format, and the 3 following cards:
- Cat Butler
- Any card that has a grade higher then 3
- Star Vader, Omega Glendios
- Therefor, there are no season restrictions
. If a game is abandoned/ forfeited by a player, he automatically loses the game.


The Point system:

. There have been several questions about the point system. I am going to make it clear: there is no point system. The tournament goes by direct elimination.

The Tournament Layout:

. The tournament will be divided in 2 parts.
- The first part will be the qualification round. Teams will be paired randomly together, and those who are put in the qualification round will have to face each other to proceed to finals. Not all teams will have to participate to the qualifications(it will all depend on your luck). Once we have 8 teams, the elimination round will begin. Teams will face off until we have 2 remaining teams who will fight for the tidal. The wining team will get to face me as a “reward” if they they wish. .Teams will face off to a best out of 3 game. The team to lose 2 battles is eliminated.
.If your team is participating to the qualification round, your captain will be informed.
How to be declared winner of a team battle:
.The elimination round teams have until July 20th to face off. The captain of the wining team must message me and tell me that his team won, and which team they were facing. If that is not done, the teams will not be considered to have faced off.


IN ORDER TO HAVE PLAYERS UNDERSTAND THIS RULE MORE EASILY, WE HAVE MADE A VIDEO EXPLAINING IT. WE RECOMMEND YOU TO READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND WATCH THE FOLLOWING VIDEO:

INSTRUCTIONS(some are repeated but we prefer to make sure).

- If you re gradestuck and you have fulfilled the special rule requirements, you can peek at the top card of your deck before your draw phase, and before procceeding to activate the special rule. This is done so that, if you were to draw the card with the grade you need, the skipping Draw Phase doesnt force you to show your hand to the opponent. If the card has the grade you needed, you will just draw it normally. If the card has any other grade, you may procceed to activate the special rule, starting by revealing the peeked at card.

-You must indicate that you are grade locked, and show your hand to your opponent before you start the battle in order to use the rule.
-If you happen to draw the needed grade before you become grade locked, YOU MAY NOT USE THE GRADE STUCK AVOIDING RULE.
Decks must follow the following grade lineup to be “valid” in the tournament:
- 16-17 Grade 0s
- 13-16 Grade 1 s
-12-15 Grade 2s
-7-10 Grade 3s

If you catch someone not following the rules/ cheating in game, contact me directly, and I will deal with it. Any team that is caught cheating will be handicapped severely/ eliminated from the tournament.

IMPORTANT: If two teams do not battle in the amount of time given, they will either both be eliminated, or the team will the members that did not show up will be eliminated. Please not that you must agree with the other team when you will battle.

Let's see... About the trigger lineup, 4 heals are essential. Not running Skyhigh Walker because it would interfere with Eva and Bunny. An option would be 8 Crits 4 Draws, but Pale Moon's multiple attacks can make up for this, so 6 Draws 6 Crits is fine, providing extra defense. It also lets you set up a good field quickly.

The 4 Evas are to make Break Ride as sure as possible. The 5 attack combo that it provides with 2 Trapezists forces opp to burn a lot of cards. And if you manage to Break Ride more than once, that becomes a slaughter.

Also note that despite this deck doesnt have even a Silver Thorn, it can keep up with meta. Prior to trying Granblue I used this deck a lot against all kinds of decks, so you can search for my fights and replay them if you want to see how this deck can keep up against meta.

After testing it, Cocytus is out and not coming back. Nightkid has been very useful, and the drawing has kept up with other decks. I ve been able to Break Ride many times, and sometimes more than once per match. Saying goodbye to the Draws as well.

Finally decided to give Granblue a try. Facing it is always a blast, so using them must be awesome.

Still doubting between 3 Nightmist, 3 Nightsnow and 2 Cocytus R, for diversity and to have a backup Vanguard, or 4 Nightmist, 4 Nightsnow to ensure Break Ride. Apart from that, I think the rest of the build is ok. The Stands are to make a +1 or to Stand a via Break Ride or Nightsnow's Limir Break powered up Corrupt Dragon or Grade 3.
I'd like to get Pietro in, since it's an unflipper, and Ripple Banshee can be spammed to get lots of +2k. For the time being, gonna get Pietro instead of Blueblood and a few Banshee in.
Lastly, I dont know whether I should use Nightkid or Peter the Ghostie as SV.

But guys have in mind this build is supposed to be an offensive one.

Glad you liked it. Also, I hope you saw it isnt only fun, but good as well. Hope more people tries it out.
I use 4 Evas because the Break Ride makes a crazy combo of attacks. This way I might Break Ride even twice per match. At the very least, this ensures a single Break Ride.
By the way, if someone who can do it reads this, and it's not a bother to him/her, please could that person replace the picture of the Promo card 0075(A Midnight Bunny with SAMPLE written onto it) with one without SAMPLE? TIA
