Nice idea, but the spelling and syntax REALLY need work. I think it would be more appropriate if its effect included: "This card cannot be Fusion Summoned except with the above monsters", or it would be too abusable with Instant Fusion.

I think this would be a more appropriate spelling:

"Old Vindictive Magician" "Man Eater Bug"
This card cannot be special summoned except by fusion summon. When this card is fusion summoned, destroy one monster on your opponents side of the field. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. This card can be treated as a Dark attribute Insect type monster.

Terrible card grammar. Also, the rating is rather close to only a 3. How'd it get Dream Card of the Week?

I find this card interesting, and someone brought up a very good point about Instant Fusion. However, since the effect of Instant Fusion to Special Summon Old Vindictive Man-Eater Bug to the field includes a destruction clause, which is invoked when Instant Fusion is off the field and before OVMEB hits the field, Instant Fusion's effect of destroying the summoned monster in the End Phase overrides OVMEB's protection effect against being destroyed by card effects, so he would only stay for that turn.

However, he would destroy 1 monster on the field due to being Fusion Summoned by Instant Fusion's effect. If he is the only monster on the field, he should be able to destroy himself (just like Man-Eater Bug is required to if flipped to a field w/only Man-Eater Bug), so the protection effect should be changed to read: This card cannot be destroyed by opponent's card effects.
This would allow OVMEB to destroy himself if used on a field with no monsters on either side (thus balancing it more, and requiring the user to be more careful).
