| Comment from the author: What's up? Welp, other than Mountain and Umi, the Thunder-type monsters have not FIELD Spell for them. Since Rai-Oh is a King (Emperor or Ruler, depending how you translated it) he (it) needs a Palace. Rai-oh that sounds like the spanish word, rayo was the reason the Counters were called Thunderbolt and not Thunder. Thunder type monsters are the kind that never go alone, they always to bring all of their buddies! Almost all Field Spell requier a bonus nowadays other than giving extra ATK/DEF to your monsters. So that is why the Reborn effect. By the way, after you remove all counters from this card and special summon 1 monsters from the grave, you instantly give this card 1 counter, so your monsters would always have at least an increasement of 100 to 200. |

Subject: Good card ... Posted: October 26, 2012 12:00 am
I imagine that some of the inspiration for this card was "Realm of Light", the Field Spell support for Lightsworns. This card seems to work in a similar manner (without the self-protection, but with a summon function). I think that this would go well with the Hunder archetype in the current new set. Well done!
