I'm having trouble deciding which effect I want to use for this card. I have two in mind:

1. Once per turn: You may activate this effect: This card gains 500 Attack Points until your next Standby Phase.

or..

2. Once per turn, when your opponent's monster declares an attack, you may negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.

So anyways, which effect would sound better?

First effect, in this case, should stay.
The second effect is way to powerful if it cannot be negated or removed the monster. The second effect practically avoids the destruction of this monster through battle (except if your opponent uses Honest, Shrink or something like it)
