Pay 2 build points -> Equip Equipped Space or Ground unit gets Shields 1. (Each unit gets -1 power as long as it's attacking the unit with this Equipment.) Most starships carry some form of shielding technology to protect them not only from the natural hazards of space travel, but also enemy attacks.
