In Genral
I think this card is pretty cool. His stats are pretty sweet considering his drop and he has a pretty good effect. He is pretty usefull, especially against an opponents Baki.

Strategies
This is a really good card to have incase your opponent has a Baki, Zabuza, Dosu (sonic impact), or any other card that uses effects alot.
You can also pump him up with some nice supporters such as his sister Temari, or with a Shiky (smarty).

How to Stop it
This card can be a real pain to go against late game so just use a jutsu or overpower it.

This card has really cool stats for it's drop

Cons
No holo version


Art
I don't like Gaara as a character that much, but this card is pretty cool. 7/10
But the others still have cooler pics.

In Conclusion
I like this one the most of all the Gaaras because he is common and has the best effect of the 3 (soon to be 4, Yayyy!!!!!). 8/10

P.S. When he goes against an Ibiki or Suzume it is still a mental power battle because they effect the type of battle, not ninjas.

Don't know if you knew this, but Conversation Gaara is likely to be the best. Sand Cocoon allows you to play half-transformed Gaara, a Turn 5 card in normal situations, on Turn 2. When Half-Transformed comes out (Either in the Chosen or as a promo for Ultimate Ninja 2), you will be proved wrong! Also, Gaara is only partially immune to Baki's effect. He can't be destroyed, because you can't even PICK him to be destroyed by the effect, meaning one of your other ninja must be made the scapegoat.

rong, u can pick gaara as bakis effect is targeting the player NOT gaara himself, so u can still pik gaara if u want....also, is the turn5 gaara only a promo?!?!?! omg i want that card but i dunno where to get promos!!!
