Neo-Spacian Glow Moss
one of the best plants ever! which isn't saying much

General description:
My last Neo-Spacian review will be over the most surprising card out of the entire Strike of Neos set. Going into the preview I had thought this guy would be pretty much trash, then I saw it in action during the tournament and thought WOW, this guy is actually pretty good when used right. In fact, I've heard of Glow Moss being referred to as the D-Hero Defender from the STON set.

Uses:
This little plant has a variety of uses:
1) Stall - summon it to the field and hope when your opponent attacks into it they keep drawing monsters.
2) Hand Control - you might be thinking How can this guy help Hand Control when it fills your opponent's hand instead of depletes it? Well, I'll tell you later.
3) Direct Attacker - OH YEAH!! A 300atk ATTACKER!! Broken? sure, when you can control what the opponent draws and/or boost Glow Moss's attack a lot ;)
4) refill your own hand

Strategies and game play:
The first part of strategy comes in with its fellow Neo-Spacians. Glow Moss has tremendous synergy with almost every other Spacian. He feeds Air Hummingbird's LP gain effect, could possibly give a target for Aqua Dolphin, or an attack boost for Flare Scarab. On top of all this, you could use Common Soul to give Glow Moss to your opponent and attack it yourself to draw extra cards. The, of course, there's his fusion into Glow Neos which I will discuss later on.
The next strategy is involved with using Appropriate and massive drawing…basically adding Glow Moss to the regular Exodia/Appropriate deck for some extra draw power. If you want, you could also tech in a Heavy Slump for some hand control when their hand gets too big.

Combos with other cards:
-Common Soul - summon him to the opponent's side of the field and keep attacking it for free cards
-Creature Swap - same as Common Soul
-Appropriate - every time Glow Moss is involved in battle, you draw 2 cards...now that's cool
-Heart of Clear Water/Mist Body - additional stall
-Heavy Slump - wait until your opponent has 8 cards in hand via Glow Moss's effect (or any other), activate this trap, and your opponent will now have 2 cards to work with
-United We Stand/Mage Power/any equip - for the direct attack ability of Glow Moss
-Senri Eye – using this continuous spell card will help you decide whether or not you want to attack with Glow Moss in the turn. Wait until you see a spell card on top of their deck, pump Glow Moss up with equips like United We Stand and/or Mage Power, attack direct for a massive hit

Ways to counteract it:
-flipping it face-down and attacking it ensures that you don't draw into a monster
-other than stall, why worry about it? gives you a free card, that's always good....if the deck is focused around it, just use a couple Sak Armors or something

Strengths/Pros:
-can attack direct
-can stall the opponent out

Weaknesses/Cons:
-has to combo with something to be effective
-very low atk
-not a whole lot of support yet

Overall rating:
Neo-Spacian deck: 5/10
Deck built around it: 8/10
Random tech: 1/10

hey glow moss can be a bad card also.you forgot to mention that if your opponent is attacking glow moss and they draw a spell card,it changes the attack to a direct attack.sure you keep glow moss, but you lose more life points.i cant believe anyone thought of this downside.

actually, the effect that makes an attack a direct attack only applies to Glow Moss itself when it's doing the attacking. If the opponent attacks it and draws a spell, nothing happens and you lose Glow Moss from battle
