General description: Mysterious fossil is a trainer card that you can play as a pkemon. It has 10 hp and no attacks. Mysterious fossil is a great staller/combo deck card
Uses:
I would load my deck with 3 Mysterious fossils. Why you may ask, because Mysterious fossil doesn't let your opponentpick up a prize card when they destroy it. Mysterious fossil basically just helps thin down your deck so you can get the combo cStrategies and game play: Mysterious fossil has a few uses. One it can just be used as a card to buy you an other turn. If you run a deck with combos then 3 mysterious fossils help a ton. You can get a mysteriuos fossil and play it right away. On your opponents turn, it gets knocked out but nothing happened. Basically if you use 3 then you are using a 47 card deck instead of a 50.

Combos with other cards:
A nice combo with this card is to wait until you have three then lay them all diwn on your bench. when one of your pokemon gets knocked out, you send one out. Then on your turn you evolve one into an aerodactyl and one into a kabuto. Now you can send out a powerful pokemon on your next turn and evolve kabuto into kabutops to use when aerodactyl gets knocked out.
Ways to counteract it:
There are a few reasons that make this card not so great. One, while you get a stall turn at no cost, your opponent also gets an extra card which helps them as well. Also, because they are so weak, your combo can be completely shut down by the fact that there are many atacks that do damage to benched cards that could kill all three. For example, hitmonlee could kill any of them if the opposing player chose.
Strengths/Pros:
This card stalls you a turn and wastes a spot in your deck. It can also be a good card for evolving because even if you don't succeed you lose nothing because it doesn't count as a knock out.
Weaknesses/Cons:
THis card is an extremely weak card. It only has 10 hp and cant attack or deffend itself.
Variations:
THe effect for Mysterious fossil is the same on every variation but the art changes from card to card. there are 3 different arts. the first one relates because it is a pictrue of bones which is what most people think of when they hear fossil. the second art is the same as the first. The third art looks really awesome and displays a rock with writing and blue glow. THis mysterious fossil is much better then the others because it has 50 hp a pretty impressive amount for a basic pokemon.
Overall rating:
I give this card a 7 because it has some great uses but is pretty weak because it can't attack.
