GENERAL DISCRIPTION
Sceptile is a great card for players who love to put your opponent asleep,poisoned, or burned. Its an amazing card.

USES
Most people would use this card to put your opponent to sleep while it powers up for a solar beam attack. Lizard poison is also one of the best attacks in the game, so you can count on your opponent to use that attack a lot.

STRATEGY
I think the best strategy is to put your opponent asleep while Sceptile gets ready for solarbeam attack. I have used this strategy many times and it almost always promises a quick game in your favor.

COMBOS
The best combo would be with Relicanth from the Hidden Legends pack. Its pokebody makes your opponent flip two coins to wake up there pokemon and they both have to be heads to wake them up! That will keep your opponent asleep forever!

WAYS TO COUNTERACT IT
The best way to protect yourself against this card is to get out a strong fire type and double full heal. Your fire type gets ready to KO sceptile, while double full heal wakes him up when he's ready to attack.

STRENGTHS
The best part about this card is its lizard poison attack. It will do twenty damage along with making your opponent asleep all for one energy! Thats a great attack!

WEAKNESSES
The worst part about this card is it's weakness. Fire types only need to do 60 damage to KO him, which is very common in fire types.

VARIATIONS
There are plenty of variations of Sceptile, including a psychic type Sceptile ex.

ARTWORK
What I liked about the artwork was that Sceptile was giving you the "evil smile". I also like the background because it fits in very well with Sceptile.

OVERALL RATING
I'd give it a 10/10. It's a card thats really worth having.
