General description:
You may all have dreamt of seeing this card in your binder, and I doubt it that a lot of people have this card. However, to unleash this card’s true potential, you have to use it in another way.
Put it in a sleeve and it’ll stay in mint condition.

Uses:
This is a double purpose card. Having two very useful effects, this card can stay for a very long time on the field, making his second effect more usable. You can use this card as a two tribute monster for Lights.
Combos with other cards:
The Sanctuary in the Sky
Being a Light Fairy monster, the synergy between Gellenduo and the field card is perfect. The sanctuary will prevent you from taking battle damage only, so watch out for burn
Spirit Barrier
This trap card works like the sanctuary except that it applies for ALL monsters. But it’s a trap, so it is much slower… But what’s so good is it will keep you safe and you can surprise your opponent by activating this in his turn…
Invicil and Norleas
Being both of light attribute and fairy type, Gellenduo is a card that should not be missed. In my opinion, this is the best fairy monster that could fit in these types of decks
Guardian Angel Joan and friends
Putting Guellenduo in decks running high level monsters like Guardian Angel Joan or the recently released light monsters will allow you to summon your tough beatssticks with only one tribute. In my opinion, it’s better than paying 2000Lp with Mausoleum of the emperor.
Ways to counteract it:
You have to wait till you can sneak in an attack. Monsters that inflict the difference between attack and defence points(like Dark Driceratops) will easily get rid of Gellenduo. However burn cards are the best at destroying it. Just activate Ceasefire and you’ll blow your opponent’s lil Angels away.
Strengths/Pros:
-Can stall for a very long time
-It’s a light Fairy type monster(look in combo section)
-0 defence means it’ll most probably never be the target of Smashing Ground unless, of course, he’s the only monster on your side of the field
Weaknesses/Cons:
-1700 atk makes it too strong to be searched by Sangan and recruiters
Variations:
This card is, unluckily, only available as a very hard to get secret rare in Strike of Neos booster pack.
Artwork and aesthetics:
The artwork is very neat and simple. Two weird angels in pastel green and pink looking quite bored and with a halo around their tummy(isn’t that supposed to be around their heads?!?)
Overall rating:
This card gets a whooping 9/10 from me for it’s cool effect and versatility. Hope you all enjoyed my review!! Thanks for reading!!
