General description:
This card could be the ultimate monster. Armityle is a monster that resembles Seto's XYZ Dragon Cannon. It can only be Special summoned by removing from play Raviel, Hamon, and Uria from the field. A feat that is really hard to due, because getting the
Sacred Beast out of your hand to the field is what a master duelists most proud of doing. It can't be destroyed in battle, but card effects can rid it from the field quick. During your turn, it gains 10000 ATK, unimaginable! But during your opponent's turn, a big fat ZERO. Naturally a game ender.
Uses:
I would use it to really throw my opponent off their game, but only if I can use it. The three monsters for the summon are hard to get out in a turn, even five turns. I can see an opponent using it to try and win in a turn, but that can be turned around in a heart beat. Two words; Magic Cylinder.
Strategies and game play:
Let's see, strategies....
Armityle can be used to stop your opponent, they won't want to summon a monster to attack one of your weaker cards because of it's ATK stats. So, it can be a threaten monster(Threaten Monsters are monsters that are used to stop attacks on your weaker monsters because of a high ATK monster scares the LP damage difference. Examples; Blue-eyes White Dragon, Black Luster Soldier, and Shining Flare Wingman.)
Combos with other cards:
End the game with two cards; Ring Of Destruction and Barrel Behind the Door.
The damage from that play will be 20000 LP
Can only work on your turn, though.
You can change the Barrel to Ring of Defense, it will negate the damage that you take fromm Ring of Destruction.
Ways to counteract it:
To stop this mighty card, play Gravity Bind, Level Limit Area B, Messenger of Peace, Magic Cylinder, and Share the Pain. Really, any card can stop it, it is not like Blue-eyes Shining Dragon.
Strengths/Pros:
Advantages;
-High ATK
-Forces your opponent to waste otherwise good remove cards
-Gain LP with Cards like Alter Tribute
Weaknesses/Cons:
*Really hard to get out on the field*
Not many people can play this card, and about 5X that many don't even have a single Sacred Beast to even try to play it.
*Can Backfire on the user*
Your opponent isn't stupid, believe me. They can rid it from you as quick as they can draw a card. Remeber this when playing monsters that seem impossible to summon to the field
"The Harder it is to Summon a monster, the quicker it is for your opponent to destroy your monster."
Variations:
All I know is that this card is in Japanese, and is only available through the Limited Edition 10 boosters.
Artwork and aesthetics:
The Artwork is great. It shows all three Sacred Beast on the one monster; Raviel'body and head, Uria's head is on the left arm, Hamon's wings are on the main body, two tails are pertruding from the main body, and the right arm had a gold lining around the hand.
Overall rating:
I give Chaos Phantom Armityle, a 7/10, for High ATK, and kick@ss artwork.
