General description:

Yubel and her other forms are some of my favourite cards from phantom darkness. Yubel was the main antagonist in season three of Yu-gi-oh gx, and she used this card in her duel against Jaden.

Uses:

Yubel can be used as part of a dark deck or a fiend deck, but in my opinion this card deserves a proper deck of it's own along with yubel - terror incarnate and yubel - the ultimate nightmare.

Strategies and game play:

Because of the negative effect of Yubel that you have to tribute one monster during your end phase it is a good idea to use cards such as treeborn frog and black ptera to continually tribute. However, if you can destroy yubel using spells or traps then you can bring out yubel - terror incarnate which does not need monsters to tribute and has an even better effect than yubel.

Combos with other cards:

To bring out Yubel easily use cards like damage condenser and mystic tomato, or you can use cards like fires of doomsday for monsters to tribute. Foolish burial can send treeborn frog to your grave.

Doom shaman is an excellent card to use in a yubel deck. Once in the graveyard, summon it with swing of memories (it is a gemini) and then second summon it. Use it's effect to summon yubel. At the end of the turn due to swing of memories doom shaman is destroyed and it's effect destroys yubel, letting you get out yubel - terror incarnate.

The calculator will gain a huge attack boost if you have any yubel form out on the field as they all have high levels.

Cards such as hate buster and generation shift are good for destroying yubel, while limit reverse can summon yubel and then destroy it when you want.

Ways to counteract it:

While Yubel is on the field there is not really a lot your opponent can do to get rid of it, apart from perhaps removing it from play without destroying it. If your opponent attacks yubel is not destroyed and they take damage while you take none. If they destroy Yubel with cards like lightning vortex then you just get another better monster.

Yubel - the ultimate nightmare is an amazing card but it does not have the leveling up ability like yubel and yubel terror incarnate, so your opponent can easily destroy it. To prevent this, use cards such as obsidian dragon and dark illusion.

Variations:

The only pack you can get yubel in is phantom darkness. Yubel is a super rare, yubel - terror incarnate is an ultra rare and yubel - the ultimate nightmare is a secret rare.

Artwork and aesthetics:
The artwork is excellent, just like the character yubel and very detailed.
