When this card is Normal Summoned or Special Summoned successfully, you can add 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. A monster that is destroyed by this monster as a result of battle is removed from play instead of going to the Graveyard. When this card is destroyed or removed from the field, it is removed from play.

General description:
This monster is one of Yugi's ,ost powerful monster. He is a MAgicain, which makes many people love to run him in a Deck. Maybe a Chaos deck, maybe...
Uses:
Well, DMOC has 3 effects. The first two rock. THe last one quite sad, but not completely useless, though. He is a Dark, then why not Double Coston to get this guy with only one Tribute. I have not hear so many Dark Decks around, but that doesn't mean impossinble to have a cool deck with a bunch of powerful Dark Monster.

Strategies and game play:
Personally, I'd love to Special Summon him from the Grave. There're reason for limiting this guy to 1. Had him not restricted, yes, You can use simply one Premature Burial and summon all three of them on the field(IT is not my private ides, many people had thought about it.) 2800 ATK is not bad for a level 8 monster. My friends have an awesome combo wiitht this guy. He found someway to summon Gilford, which destroys all monster on his side of the field. Then he used Premature Burial to get back Phoenix of Nepthys, next Giant Trunade and summoned this guy from the Graveyard. Then he got back Giant and use it again on another monster, but it is not neccessary because he got a clear field for a straight 8000 ONe-Turn-Kill.

Combos with other cards:
For the first two effects, there are cleary many Spell that cope very well with this guy. But for the third effect, usually used in a Chaos-deck, often goes with Dimension Fusion, Return form a Different Dimension etc...

Ways to counteract it:
Smashing Ground, Sakuretsu Armor or simply Phoenix Wing Wind Blast bound him back, then he got removed (same consequence applied when DMoC got removed from the field.)

Strengths/Pros:
Goof effect, good attak and Defense. I forgot to mention that it is a cool way to summon this guy by: Dark Magician Girl+Sage Stone=Dark MAgician + Dedication through Light and Darkness=> DMOC+1 Spell(Why not Premature Burial => Dark MAgician+Dark Magic Attack for a straight field huh?)
Weaknesses/Cons:
Even when you Tribute him for something, he gets removed*sigh*

Variations:
Both Ultra Rare in DB2 and IOC.

Artwork and aesthetics:
To me, he is the leader of the all MAgician with the best picture.

Overall rating:
Generally for a Normal Deck 7.5/10
For a Dark or Chaos Deck: 8.5/10

This is also a one turn kill that i got hit with lol. My friend used heavy stormed, then i got one monster to defend me, starts off with a skilled dark, magical dimension, destroys my face down card, and special summon dark magician, attack then dedication through light and darkness, get bak magical dimension, then magical dimension and injection fairy lily comes out and kills me lol

One turn kill refers to the players second turn, seeing as no one can attack on their first turn. So, I'm assuming that you went first, and played some Magic/Traps face-down. He played Heavy Storm. You set one monster. opponent Summons Skilled Dark Magician, activates Magical Dimension Special Summoning Dark Magician and destroying your face-down monster. His Dark Magician attacks, lowering your LP to 5500. Then activates Dedication Through Light And Darkness, Special Summoning Dark Magician Of Chaos, and returning Magical Dimension. Now, he's already normal summoned AND special summoned, so normal summoning Injection Fairy Lilly is out of the question. Also, Magical Dimension can't be used to summon her since she's a fairy. Not to mention that your Battle-Phase is already over, so reguardless of who he summoned, he can't attack anymore. So...explain to me how this was a 1 turn kill....
