General description:
I love this card so much, for how fast a game comes to an end in your favor. If one happens to go down there will be more of them waiting on the bench with 130 HP and only 1 energy for it to do 60 damage! Often called a "broken" card.

Uses:
Immediatley use Rare Candy and do good damage. The Buck's and PlusPower can come as a surprise and take something out im 1 hit but also let you leave the water energy discarded for when you really need them. I don't think you should use Aqua Stream early in the game because it will affect your chances of drawing what you need if you don't already have it set up. If you have 2 Kingdra in play and some extra energy try attaching an energy on your active Kingdra and switch it for your benched Kingdra to build up the discard pile.

Strategies/Combos with other cards:
Claydol (GE), Uxie (LA), Felicity's Drawing will refill your hand so you can use empty the deck and use Dragon Pump to fill the discard with water energy for a good Aqua Stream. Dawn Stadium/ Unown G if you worry about effects. Aerodactyl damages opponents power-users that hide on the bench and you can play the Old Amber onto the bench, keep it or discard it right away just to draw more cards with Claydol. Unown G also like the Old Amber just bench it to draw more and get rid of it by attaching to your Kingra. Kyogre (LA) will also get rid of energy for you by attaching them to itself and so good damage (if Snowpoint is in play even better!). Kyogre can get rid of energy by retreating or whhile having an Unown G in bench put some energy on it so when you use Guard Poke-Power some energies will be discarded. Rare Candy is a must for this deck, if you have a Horsea as your opener Rare Cany and Kingdra, then you should go second. Your opponent will attach an energy and attack but I doubt an attack from the 1st turn will KO Horsea. Now evolve to Kingdra and do 60 damage on your first turn as any conditions go away when evolving. Regice (LA) can be like a Warp Point, forces a switch while discarding 2 cards and you can discard even further if you retreat that turn too. If Regice was sniped last turn then switch it in, attack, then take off it's energies next turn. Energy Search will get rip of itself and give you water energy and allow the use of a supporter card. Night Pokemon Center is risky if you rely on it and get a split between heads and tails. When getting either both heads or both tails it doesn't matter, you want to discard your own energy and of course you'd want to heal yourself! ( Oh how I wish Pokemon Center was reprinted...) PlusPower and Buck's Training help get you through resistance. Bring a Pokemon with damage on it already from the bench like from a previous Dragon Pump attack with Warp Point and you may not even have to use PlusPower or discard 2 cards if you don't wan't to. An enemy Claydol can be hit with the excess 20 damage and if Aerodactyl is there give them the choice of drawing cards but loosing their Claydol.

Ways to counteract it:
TS-2 Devoluter, Dusknoir will not take damage as the active when using Night Spin unless you have 3 or more energy attached, Raichu decks can get you even when having a Bubble Coat attached since it can attack twice sometimes. Scizor and Cherrim decks are hard to go up against because they keep healing. Torterra has so much HP, not much you can do against even the Turtwigs in that deck due to resistance.

Strengths/Pros:
Extremely low enegy/retreat cost, very high on HP, can do devastating early KOs late and game sometimes over 100 damage for no energy. With the upcomming Dialga G LV. X so many people worry about well this deck uses no Poke-Bodies usually so we don't care!

Weaknesses/Cons:
To hit big you must have so many water energy in the discard pile and after it hits the energy is returned to the deck and you must set up the attack once more bye filling the discard with water energy. If your opponent knows the game well your strategy will be somewhat obvious but she/he must still try and stop it. A TS-2 can KO you if you have been using the Rare Candy because even anything like a basic can be sent out and use this TM for no cost.

Variations:
From the Legends Awakened set as a 7/146 Holo-Rare or a reverse holo.

Artwork and aesthetics:
Kingdra is always holographic and is under water creating a whirlpool just like it says in the flavor text. The holographic patterns go well with the swirling water that sparkles.

Overall rating:
10, I have won so much with Kingdra. I'd like to hear from you other Kingdra users too.

How is it with BTS? And are the any latest cards that go well together here or that you are using?

BTS seems to work againts me. I rare candy anyways even on Claydol. I've been using Chansey and Blissey. Heal + toss out more energy. I bring out Blissey and use it's Cosmic PowerISH attack until I get Claydol. Retreat it to rid 2 energy, when on bench heal to not get snipped and discard another energy at the same time. Of Platinum set Banette can dump alot of cards after a Cynthia's. Blastoise and Octillery are also using water but after an Aqua Stream your deck will be packed with energy and easy to use their effects. Stadiums Galactic HQ and Miasma can hurt you but they also mean you wont have to discard vital cards as much for Dragon Pump to survive or use up your Buck's/PlusPowers so early. Again none of these cards use Poke-Bodies, do not fear Dialga G LV. X.

Octillery is an easier version of Rhyperior x. It seems to match your play style how you attach energy on the active just to retreat. With Blissey they have protection. Thanks for answering me. 5/5

I guess this card review is good. The combo is perfect of course. And the Strategy, hmmm I'd say it's about the same as the combo which is pretty much why I think it rocks and that I rated it as a five.

have you tried to combo it with milotic? the one that lets you discard 2 cards to heal with the 90 power attack that gets weaker for each card in your hand? i think that these two cards would work well together since you can discard unwanted cards and energy cards to fuel milotic's healing ability and her actual attack. then when she gets koed you can just switch in Kingdra with one energy and do massive damage with kingdra's 2 attacks.

plus to run milotic you have to run feebass so if you run the one with quick evolution you can search out any evolution card in your deck which will probably help to speed up your strategy a bit.
