General description:
This is my absolutely favourite card in the game! In a deck built around him with multiple copies and a number of Normal Spells it can "spell" the end of your opponent. With an effect that rivals Dark Eradicator Warlock (but is much, much, much easier to summon) it is a unique card that deserves a little attention. 400 direct damage for each normal spell is a great effect.

Uses:
It's main use would be in a determined burn deck, with a heap of Normal Spells to back it up. Some of the ones I've found work particularly well with it are x3 Toon Table of Contents and Magical Blast.

Strategies and game play:
Multiple TToC, Magical Blast, as well as Swords of Revealing/Concealing Light as a stall and Lightning Vortex (do 400, 800 or 1200 possible damage and then attack directly)

Combos with other cards:
Magician's Circle can summon it to the field with ease and Magical Dimension can Special Summon it when needed. A great deal of Normal Spells would be needed to benefit this card best in a deck as he really needs a deck built around him. Heavy Storm, Nobleman of Crossout, Lightning Vortex, all doing even more damage becuase of this card.

Ways to counteract it:
He is not especially strong and with proper protection it would not survive very long with all of the monster destruction these days. A Horus deck would starve him of his diet of Normal Spells and would hit him hard. In a deck that wouldn't use many normal spells it wouldn't be worthwhile.

Strengths/Pros:
Dark/Spellcaster, well supported group with Magical Dimension, Magician's Circle etc.
Solid Burn damage, can pile up with multiple copirs of R-F Magician and TToC.

Weaknesses/Cons:
Unsearchable (except in traditional)
Burn damage a little lackluster and restricted to your own Spells.

Variations:
Rare and Ultimate Rare.

Artwork and aesthetics:
For some reason this card reminds me a little of Squall Leonhart from FFVIII. The art is very well done, as are most of the card art from about LOD and up. The balls of energy around him just glow with power and shows the potential he has to be great.

Overall rating:
In a deck of his own - 10/10
In a deck woth lots of Norm. Spells - 8/10
Anything else - 6/10

What's wrong with you? RFM is one of my favorite cards, but right now I'm trying an all trap and monster deck. Great article.

you mean not worth putting in YOUR deck.....I agree, I wouldn't put it in my deck either, but I'd definately put it in a Spellcaster deck, to be more specific a Counter-Caster deck (spellcasters using spell counters)

good review

when you were telling the combo with lightning vortex it would not work. You said it would do 1200 points of damage and then a direct attack. But it has to be a normal spell like ookazi for its effect to be activated. It works best with meteor of destruction in my opinion

I dont know what you're talking about, kabia... this card is bomb! I run spellcasters, and absolutely would not take this card out! I use harpies' feather duster, raigeki, and pots of greed with it, making it 3x more lethal than normal. My deck does tend to revolve around spell counters, but that's all good, becaues the deck rocks due to this! This card deserves lots of recognition and praise, for it does a whole lot for 4 star monster!
