Sorry, but Exodia just isn't a good card at all. First of all, it's hard to win by this method, and it's not practical at all. It's very easy to counter attack it, since your game depends solely on all Exodia pieces. If one is destroyed or removed from play, your game will be terribly diminished. If you use cards in your deck which improve your draw, you wont have enough cards to help you defend yourself. And to be honest, Exodia is not a good defender. It is pretty much a ONE WAY card, which to be honest, is useless.

I agree with masterduler, but since the release of the forbidden list, Gold Sarcophagus isn't banned anymore., sangan is limited, and well witch of the forest is banned..it's pretty o.k. to play with an exodia deck. But you can't really rely on it, i mean if your opponent plays a deck that discards your hand your gonna be messed up. Exodia has lots of weakness if you doon't have enough support cards to help it. Example, your opponent uses card of destruction, if you don't have magic jammer you're messed. Even though i agree with masterdueler i kinda like exodia too . I don't really know which side is better.

There is a perfect exodia combo in existence. You need only have a few Heart of the Underdog and a normal monster deck. All you need is to draw heart of the underdog early on. I suggest using something like golden sarcophagus to add it to your hand. If those are the only non monster. Cards in your deck its a guaranteed win unless your opponent has a trap or quick play spell that discards your hand in an instant. That would be bad. Exodia is overrated.
