Montage Dragon
What a beast!

General description:
Ever had a hand where it's full of five and higher star leveled monster's that you just couldn't get on the field? Ever wish to get your but-kicking bad guy on the field easily? Introducing, Montage Dragon!!

This guy would be used as an attacking force against your opponent.

Strategies and game play:
If you got a hand full of high powered monsters that you couldn't summon, this guy frees up your hand by discarding 3 of those strong guys and then gaining atk points equal to all of their star levels combined multiplied by 300. This guy could get real strong, real fast.

Combos with other cards:
If you've discarded a monster that could be reborn from the grave using "Call of the Haunted," you could get 2 strong beat-sticks before you've even normal summoned. Certain monsters have effects that work from the grave, by discarding those you could use their effect to your advantage, for example "Elemental hero Necroshade."

Ways to counteract it:
There's the "Solemn Judgement, Torrential Tribute, Horn of Heaven, etc." and when it atks "Mirror Force, Sakuretsu Armor, etc." Effect's from monsters like "man-eater bug, newdoria, 'Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter,' etc." will all be able to destroy "Montage Dragon."

Easy to summon, could have very powerful atk.

Needs 3 monsters to summon, no other effect.

There is an ultra rare in "The Duelist Genesis" packs and a secret rare found in the 2008 collection of tins.

Artwork and aesthetics:
The artwork looks cool, although right away I didn't notice it had 3 heads. Whoa, powerful right?

Overall rating:
This card has so much potential. I would give this card a 9 because of it's ease to summon and that it could be so massively powerful. Not a ten because of it's difficulty to summon (wow, I refuted my own statement, lol) and because it has no other effect to protect itself.

From Stardust Accelerator, you'll find a deck oriented around Montage Dragon that uses a Heart of the Underdog draw engine. With beatdown monsters being drawn into your hand by that card effect, Montage Dragon's cost isn't too bad and you can use a multitude of cards to replenish your hand or deck.

Another important tip about Montage Dragon is that running 3 copies is okay, because you can always discard extra Montage Dragons to bring 1 out.

I have this card in my God summoning deck and it is just unfair. Wipe your opponent of spell and traps and the this sucker just goes to town on them. And then of course throw in a Fairy Meteor Crush..

It could be an ok beatstick, but three monsters sounds like a lot of bad hand management to me.
