General description:
ever since ultra duel appeared, a new type of duel masters had begun. especially this card, death dragerion the supernova. It have a really cool effect which is pure sabotage. This card is mostly used as a finisher or in hopeless conditions giving a new path to victory.


Uses:
This card is staple in every darkness deck especially dragon deck. having 8 mana available is no big deal. is meteor burn effect is deadly it clears the Field instantly depending on how much cards u send to grave.


Strategies and game play:
There are many strategies for this card. it have a zombie dragon race which is very useful in dragon deck where there's always monsters supporting dragons, eg: cocco lupia . cocco lupia lowers its mana by 2 which gives u a bonus summoning this creature for only 6 mana.
6 mana isn't really counted as enough mana to summon high power creatures like billion degree dragon or high power creatures like headlong giant. This card is an advantage to lower cost deck as mostly those creature's power are normally 3000power or below. this makes a good advantage for this card which destroys all 3000 less creature per card send to grave leading u to victory.


Combos with other cards:
There are really good combos with this card. Making a combo with this card is challenging as it clears the Field unless u have a high power creature. but there are so much of combos which make summoning of this creature easier.

There's a spell called mystic treasure chest which stalls up mana with a different civilization than nature.

Dandy eggplant is a so-called grave stacking card which is very useful especially when one of ur dragons is destroyed. normally the graveyard stacking is not foolishly stacking grave

but stacking card effect that will activate in the grave eg:Necrodragon Guljeneraid. Necrodragon guljeneraid have a really cool combo with death dragerion the supernova especially when its in the grave. even if its in your mana zone u can summon death dragerion the supernova to treat it as a card for meteor burn sending it to grave. that card activates when a dragon other than Necrodragon Guljeneraid is destroyed, special summon this card to the Field. As i had said, death dragerion the supernova is a zombie dragon/Phoenix race this necrodragon guljeneraid comes in very handy.

Since it is an evolution creature, Nature spell, evolution egg comes in very handy too. it lets the controller of evolution egg search a evolution creature from deck and add it to his/her hand which makes chances of getting death dragerion in your hand high.


Ways to counteract it:
countering this card is quite difficult unless u are really luck to have strong sheild triggers.


Weaknesses/Cons:
spells like terror pit , natural snare , spiral gate. Monsters like aqua surfer is also a really strong card to counter this monster. light spells are almost useless to death dragerion. spells and monsters eg: spiral gate and aqua surfers are the real threats to this card. those 2 cards have the effect of returning a monster on the Field to hand which makes the controller of death dragerion returning the remaining cards under death dragerion to his/her hand. normally this might be a positive or something negative. the bad news is that u wasted 3 mana, the good news is that u have darkness monsters in your hand to swarm the Field. normally the most threatening is terror pit which destroys the monster instantly.


Overall rating:
This card is really cool and strong it is one of my favourites. whenever death dragerion is added into the deck, the deck changes into a new type of deck which is considered to be deadly. i would give is a 9.5 out of 10. The 0.5 lost is because of the artwork. the wings are really cool but the metal thing which looks like a head (i hope its not really the head! ) is abit of an eyesore.
