Ursaring (Berserk)
Ursaring Prime: Possibly the strongest hs unleashed prime

General description:
In my first booster pack of this set, i pulled out Primeape as my rare, which was super since i had many Mankeys and Primeapes and wanted to add some. I also pulled out this little special shiny card. First I saw the attacks. 3 energies 30 damage. Wow that fails! But then I read the PokeBody: If Ursaring has any damage counters on it all of its attacks do 60 more damage. Wow! I was astonished. Since Ursaring would have damage counters if in trouble, this is a great defense. Also, hammer arm allows you to discard the top card of your opponent's deck. Very useful.

Uses:
This card has an amazing combo with the unleashed Teddiursa. Teddiursa does extra damage in return for damage to itself. Next turn you pull out a couple of trainers and then BAM you have Ursaring. You attach a double colorless and hammer arm your way to an easy ko. If it has 100-120 hp, you could go for the megaton lariat 120 damage.

Strategies and game play:
This card, because it is normal type, does not need specific energies and can attach triple colorless or double colorless to do its heavy, but hard hitting moves.
Combos with other cards:
Teddiursa, and many other cards that may do damage to opponent's and put one damage counter on one of your pokemon. Spiritomb is excellent for this purpose because it allows you to put 1 damage counter on itself to evolve it into ursaring, then transfer with base set alakazam to use the beserk effect
Ways to counteract it:
KO Teddy when its basic, or use a hard hitting fighting type 60+ damage to ko it.
Strengths/Pros:
Normal type, so can attach a few double colorlesses and pwn with hammer arm for the easy 9 damage knock out. 110 hp too, a lot for a stage 1. So, it has a lot of ground to use berserk pokebody.

Weaknesses/Cons:
No resistance because of normal typing. Weakness to fighting and that's a problem with Donphan prime being heavily used. One energy 60 damage. x2 that would be a 120 KO on Ursaring.
Variations:
It's a prime so it has those spikes around the border to make it look like its "coming out" and has a holofoil picture, border, and name text. There is a Japanese one.

Artwork and aesthetics:
Love it. However, if you just showed me the picture (which, by the way, is just ursaring's head and his claw forward), I would have thought it was some regular bear. It's claw tip is incredibly shiny, and like all primes, I like the window picture.
Overall rating:
9.5 out of 10. Incredible card. Hard hitting, but however, needs many energies. But, because it is normal type you can attach a few double colorless or triple colorless and be on your way hammer arm-ing. However, it has no resistance because of this typing and its weakness is to Donphan which can KO it in one turn with only 1 energy.

if you stop its pokebody then it really fails. also if you use the rising rivals beedrill you can easily paralyze and poison it and then retreat to a stronger pokemon to kill it. yes carlie, you remember how the bee killed the bear
