Give me some endurance baby!

General description: Let me begin by making a BIG statement - Rictor, Depowered is the best unique character in the game. There are a lot of various cards in vs system that gain endurance, but nothing compares to this man, if you build around him correctly.

Uses: Be sure to play 4 of him in a game, which isn't hard because he is unique and not rare. He is not an attacker or a character designed to reinforce. He is simply there to activate every turn and give you loads of extra endurance. (I won a game on round six with a deck built around him and had 68 endurance at the end.)

Strategies and game play:
If possible it is nice to get Rictor into the hidden area or get him into a position to be protected as he will not be attacking. Also, every character in your deck needs to have an activated power and have either the X-factor affiliation or X-men affiliation, which isn't hard to do.

Combos with other cards:
Two main cards make this deadly: X-men United, and Xavier's School. X-men United will team up X-Factor and X-men, allowing for reinforcement and team attacking of small characters, which you want a lot of. Xavier's School will allow you to use Rictor's activate power twice each turn. (The most I have gained on one turn is 16 endurance)

Ways to counteract it:
Rictor is small and of course can be stunned easily and ko'd with effects like finishing move, or other similar cards. Also, if a card is played to negate an activation power, you lose his benefit for a turn. Omega Red also is terrible against him, because it takes away ability to gain endurance.

Of course the advantage is the endurance gain. Who can't use a little extra endurance each turn?

Only a two drop with 3 on defense. Also, his sole purpose is to activate, so his position can be abused on the board at times.

It is also available in a foil version, but does not have any other promo or EA versions.

Artwork and aesthetics:
The thing I like aesthetically about the card is that Rictor seems so innocent and unassuming, but is Oh so powerful. Kind of ironic.

Overall rating:
I've got to give it a 9. Tell me what you think.

It is obvious why he is so good, but great job explaining how you can make him better. Super review.
