This strange girl appeared almost out of nowhere in Venice offering her
services and nobody trusted her at first. But Uncle Auggie took notice
of her somehow, and granted her a lot of room in our *loggia*, much to
my older cousins' dismay. If you ask me, I don't know why they should
feel like that: she's proven valuable as hell. No ally the *famiglia*
has at the moment is that willing to stand in the first line of defense
and Deflect any *beep* our enemies throw on us; in fact, Sennadurek
hardly needs to abandon her position while she does so. If the new
target can't react to the redirected attack, her powers of divinity
allow her to get ready again in short notice - and she even seems able
to track whose of out enemies has the Edge currently, and report on us
once the one with the upper hand falls. Who doesn't like to act
forewarned? Discern what our enemies' plans are is gold, specially when
our closer prey is the one who loses the advantage.
Some circles say that she's actually a Black Hand infiltrator, but I
don't care about that, really. What would these weirdos within the
Sabbat need from us? If they're trying to spy, they'll find nothing
that doesn't serve their plans already. On the other hand, I've known
some of these elite warriors and they have a bunch of tools, titles and
techniques at their disposal that we can tap into. They have the rank
of Remover, per example, which serves us nice; doubling up the effects
of the Jar the Soul ritual combined with some Calls to the Hungry Dead
and the old Seduction tactic means a lot of minions out of the way most
of the time. There's also the Dominion, which one Black Hand guy told
me that's a very prestigious and secretive position; many vampires have
some difficulty when trying to block a Dominion's whims, and Sennadurek
also has a Crocodile's Tongue at her disposal, so... Maybe it's worth
it for the clan to lobby a little bit with the Sabbat for a promotion
on her. Oh, and the very same guy also rambled about a Ritual the Black
Hand designed to twart some signs of Gehenna, but I don't believe in
that *beep*.
