Cute, but do not let your guard down if your opponent has it in his/her deck
Up to 6 discarded cards are revitalized upon playing Flower Shop Lady
Strategies and game play:
Best if used in the middle or towards the end of the battle when your discard pile is bigger
Combos with other cards:
-Any Pokémon with an attack that forces the player to discard energy cards: For instance
Natu (Secret Wonders #96/132) - If Bothering Wave lands a tails, the attack does nothing and the player will have wasted a basic energy that can be reclaimed from the discard pile. If heads, then the opponent has to discard energy on the defending Pokémon and the discarded energy can be regained if the player plays Flower Shop Lady.
**Granted, the cards chosen from the discard pile go into the player's deck, not their hand. But at least the player knows that these cards will be available**
-Energy Exchanger (Undaunted #73/90) - If the Energy card type that you want is not in the discard pile, you can swap the card with the one you want in your deck!
Ways to counteract it:
-Make sure you have one of this card in your deck as well (if both players have this card, neither have an advantage)
-Allows a player to have less energy in their decks (because once discarded it can be reclaimed) to leave room for more Pokétool and Stadium cards in his/her deck.
-Only one Supporter card can be played each turn. If you need to play a different Supporter card during your turn, this card has to wait until the next turn.
Obviously it is in at least English and Japanese as Undaunted #74/90
Artwork and aesthetics:
Kanako Eo gave a very cartoony look to the card (even more than Ken Sugimori)
9/10 - If this card is drawn at the beginning of the game, it is utterly useless.
