sealed promo cards

a number of cards (9) were released as "promos" - these
cards were sealed in cellophane with a whizkid promotion
card on the back - at least one (starbuck CAG) was
distributed at SDCC 2006 and in scifi magazine 08/06

when the BSG first season DVD was released - one of
three of the ccg/tcg cards were included (later these
promo cards were switched with three cards from the
very nicely done "Rittenhouse" (movie cards - not
related to the ccg/tcg) product line) - they are
extremely hard to find as a sealed item - they are
Apollo/lee adama le 01/12
number six/agent prov le 09/12 (black dress)
starbuck / hot shot pilot le 11/12

these cards were later released as LEs - with normal
distribution - and are not hard to get unless sealed
with the promo card included

the other six sealed were
number six/woman in red 002 ex
(scrye pricing guide 07/06)
starbuck commander AG 005 ex
(scifi magazine 08/06)
colonial viper 614 003 ex
william adama (WW) le 08/12
starbuck/ commander AG 005 ex
starbuck (BPITF) 004 ex
(launch conventions)

the rarity here is that few of the DVD cards are
available while the other six are constantly showing
up on ebay

my reviews are strictly from a collectors standpoint - there is no game play information involved - just interesting facts about the cards that collectors might find interesting
