General description:
Hi guys this is my first review so hope you'll like it. Please comment and tell me any mistakes you find and rate it also.
So today we discuss a very important element of dragon deck(apart from the dragons). And it is COCCO LUPIA.It came out with the set "Stomp-a-Trons Of Invincible Wrath" and suddenly rose to a lot of fame because of its sensational ability that is "Your creatures that have Dragon in their race each cost 2 less to summon. (Dragonoids don't count.) They can't cost less than 2.". It reduces the summoning cost of all dragon creatures by 2. Incredible isn't it. So let us discuss it in more detail.

As I said above, it is the key element of a dragon deck because it reduces the cost of dragons. As all of us know dragons are one of the most furious and commanding race in all civilizations. But they cost high, I mean they are worth it but who can wait to get 7-8 mana to summon their dragons and then begin the game, they will be finished till then if opponent uses a rush deck. So this is a very important card. As most of dragons cost between 6-9(like Bolshack Dragon, Bolshack NEX, Bolmeteus Steel Dragon, Uberdragon Bajula). With cocco lupia you may reduce their cost to 4-7 and if you have a lot of them, you may just cast dragons for a cost of 2!!!!!

Bolshack NEX

Bolmeteus Steel Dragon

Uberdragon Bajula

Strategies and game play:
As far as strategy is concerned, it is pretty clear that you have to summon it and then reduce cost of dragons and then bet the hell out of your opponent. But it has to be systematic so that you can do it fast and effectively.
STEP 1 =>Get Cocco in the Battle Zone. This step is pretty clear as you can't use its abilities without it. Anyways you have to summon it fast. So use mana accelerators like Faerie Life and Bronze Arm Tribe.

STEP 2=>Now that you've got cocco in the battle zone, the next step is to use its abilities to do some damage. So summon something the leaves an impact on the game. The turn after you summon cocco, you'll have 4 mana(i.e. 6 mana as far as dragons are concerned). So you can summon some good dragons. For example summon Genji Double Cross, Blastdragon, it has SPEED ATTACKER, it DESTROYS A BLOCKER, and is a DOUBLE BREAKER.

STEP 3=>Now once your game goes smooth with cocco, don't just limit to one!! Summon more Cocco's and reduce more cost like 2 cocco will reduce cost by 4, 3 will reduce by 6 and so on. But due to restrictions in copy, you can't keep more than 4 copies of any card. But nevertheless, you can summon it even if you don't have it in your hand with the help of BOLSHACK NEX, it allows you to get a creature with lupia in its name from your deck directly into the battle zone.

Combos with other cards:
Since Cocco Lupia reduces cost of dragons, it can easily create combos with them. I've listed some of them but there are many more of them.
COMBO 1 =>When you summon cocco lupia, you have 3 mana. The next turn you'll have 4 mana so you can summon Bolshack Nex which increases its number in battle zone which is proportional to the decrease in cost of your dragons. Or you may use it to make Bolshack a speed attacker by summoning MACH LUPIA which makes it speed attacker and returns it at the end of turn so you can summon it again and get more lupias in battle zone.

And if you have many lupias you can evolve 3 of them to get galaxy lupia which gets out a NEX creature from anywhere in your deck to you battle zone.
Galaxy Lupia

Bolshack Cross NEX

COMBO 2=>Let your mana increase a bit then you may summon Bolbalzak X(when you have 5 mana), then your mana gets untapped. Then you may evolve it to Uberdragon Bajula or just keep it like it is and crack 2 shields because Bolbalzak is a SPEED ATTACKER.

Ways to counteract it:
This card has a lot of good abilities but it can be counteracted easily because of its low power. It has only 1000 power so it can be easily destroyes by a thing like Crimson Hammer

It can be easily thrown out of the battle zone by SPIRAL GATE, AQUA SURFER, CORILE, TERROR PIT.

1) It is a creature with low power so it can be easily attacked and destroyed.
2) It is a low cost creature so it can be easily sent to mana zone by Startdash Buster, Divine Hero Mech
3) It can be easily blocked.
4) It is vulnerable to attacks while tapped, so you have to attack with it wisely.

Being a popular card, it has lots of variations. It has both English and Japanese versions. It can be seen in the following sets : Stomp-a-Trons Of Invincible Wrath,DMC-29,47,62,47-8,67,DMX-02,P-Y9,Y7

Artwork and aesthetics:
It is availaible in 4 different artworks :

Overall rating:
I think this card deserves a 8 out of 10 because it has some weaknesses. Apart from that it is a great card.

Very Nice Review!!

In my deck, I hv a 4 lupias and 4 bolzard Dragon

I summon the lupia and then bolzard.....................then after every attack the opponent's mana decreases by 1 and if i hv more bolzard or bajula, he cant really call any costly creatures and hence the match becomes easy............
