Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened
How to defeat a player with his own weapons! the Enlightened Saga part 5
written by tudordan LV7
I've wanted to be done with this review since Monday (and now is Saturday) but it is finally here!
Caribbean Moon,the Enlightened
DM-33 Rising Dragon (S2/S5 - Super Rare)
Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened is an Ultimate Evolution Creature with 6000 power,7 mana cost,Double Breaker and Lunatic Emperor/Cyber Command races.
- 7 mana cost makes him as hard to summon as Tornado Moon, the Enlightened. However, with only 6000 power, this Creature is a puppy compared with
Tornado Moon.At this level, many Creature would just crush Caribbean Moon like an ant. Most Water Creatures such as Aqua Surfer or Corile have this weakness, because their abilities is what makes them worth it.
-Lunatic Emperor/Cyber Command makes the situations even worse.Tornado Moon, the Enlightened is a Giant at least with his own support,Cyber Command don't have. However, they are pretty interesting if we think about it.
Now let's see why is his ability that worth it:
When you put this creature into the battle zone, or when this creature attacks, or when this creature leaves the battle zone you may cast a spell from your opponent's graveyard without cost. Then put that card on the bottom of its owner's deck.
This ability gives a new meaning of "Defeat your enemy using his own weapons!" phrase.
Water Civilization is known to have some of the best Spells and known to *sometimes* summon them without cost, just like Light Civilization, the only difference being that Water Civilization barely have any Spell restriction.(Maxwell X, the Super-Electric)
However,Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened does it pretty nicely. With his mere presence and his deadly hands, your enemy's magic will start to rise and shine against him,the one who made the way of the wicked.
What Spells can be used by this Creature: quite a wide variety to choose from,we will talk about this later.
With this Anti-Spell ability, let's talk about what decks can this be used against:
- Hyperspatial Decks:My favorite enemies. These decks are BOUND to have Spells in them, especially "Hyperspatial" Spells. Some of them are usefull, especially if you have Psychic Creatures on your own. There are these Creatures who can summon Psychic Creatures for you,so that's kind of a bummer and can counter our Lunatic Emperor. Also some Hyperspatial Decks have Creatures such as Olzekia,General of Decapitation who are here in order to take care of the likes off Caribbean Moon. However, most people use Psychic Creatures nowadays, which is kinda good and can revive Caribbean Moon's potential
- Knight Decks: My 2nd favorite enemies.Just like Hyperspatial Decks they're BOUND to have some Spells, especially those with "Knight Magic" effect, where it can be used again if your enemy has a Knight present. Most Knights have abilities that affect Spells (such as Romanoff the 1st,Lord of the Demonic Eye),so you shouldn't worry because you won't run out off ammo. The only problem you might have is how to protect your Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened against the likes of these guys, since most of them are quite powerfull.
- Most Light Decks: Some Light Civilization Decks have some Spells in them, especially when we talk about Holy Awe,Super Spark,DNA Spark,Solar Ray,Logic Cube, etc.
The first one who grasped the power of Ultimate Evolution is the first to truly feel it's power:
Here we will talk about what Evolution Baits shall we use for awakening Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened's soul.Just like my other reviews,we will talk here about Evolution Creatures ONLY!
I think I am the only one who grasped Alcadeias's powers. -Maxvell Z,the Super-Electric
If we take a look at his abilities then Maxvell doesn't sound really that synergistic. But in fact,it is one of the best Evolution Baits you can use currently for Caribbean Moon. Here are some reasons as of why:
-8 mana cost might seem big,but Soulshift actually makes it look like is cheap. This might force you to waste your "otherwise-uselfull,high-cost" Cyber Creatures.but is still worth it.
-8000 power is pretty decent,at his level he can be destroyed easily but not by Spells.Double Breaker will make it even more worth it when you want to attack with this Creature, reason is as the following........
-HIS ABILITY!!!It is so awesome,if your opponent already used some Spells before Maxvell Z,he is completely sealed for the rest of the war. This doesn't sound like a good combo with Caribbean Moon because our Lunatic Emperor relies on hostile magic in order to be usefull, but this can protect Maxvell Z so that you're quite sure you will summon Caribbean Moon.
(by the way,it seems to me that TCO made a typo, this Creature is actually called Maxvell Z not Maxvell X!)
I can't wait, unlike Maxvell Z,I really need these powers that Caribbean Moon shown me! -Hellrush Max, the Super-Electric
The other best Evolution Bait you can use for Caribbean Moon,Hellrush Max can guarantee a perfect summoning condition for Caribbean Moon, all of this without cost.
But in order to do this, you need to attack your enemy's defences, which can be risky.
This risky chance can be null if you have someone like Maxvell Z,but you still need to worry about Creature effects. If you're lucky you can proc this ability twice.
HOWEVER,there is another problem:In order to proc it,not only you will need to attack your enemy's defences, you will also have to destroy 2 of your Creatures. This won't be a problem as long as you use only 1 Creature as sacrifice, besides that's why we have Skull Moon, the Enlightened!
Use this ability with other Water Cards that rearrange the top card of your deck for the best effect and even for Caribbean Moon's cheap summoning. Also using cards that are returned to hand instead of being destroyed (Aqua Soldier) are highly recommended.
Caribbean Moon,I am here whenever you need me! -Emperor Tina
Emperor Tina will make summoning Caribbean Moon faster than others before her.
With only 1 mana cost and 4000 power,at her level she can hold the ground well.Only choose her if you want the most fastest option,so that you can summon the Big Boss at your next turn at least!
She can use any Cyber Creature or Origin as bait, giving her a wide variety of Baits to choose from,so you won't have to run into a risk of using usefull Creatures as Baits for her.
The only problem is at endgame,at that point where you should summon Caribbean Moon on your next turn! That and Blocker: the likes of Genji won't like her.
Our deep ocean's secret is only revealed by the one who seeks knowledge further. -Astral Warper (Astral Nebula)
Astral Warper (otherwise known as Astral Nebula) can be a good choice too.
With 6 mana cost you can summon him and then summon Caribbean Moon next turn, but with a dissapointing 5000 power, you shouldn't attack him. This makes him prone to Death Smoke.
However,if he's present, you draw 3 cards. This can be usefull against discarding decks and can even give you the chance to draw Caribbean Moon himself. We all know how much of a pain is having an empty hand,Astral Warper won't let that happen.
Using his stronger version,Astral Reef,is a better choice, but Reef is restricted and even weaker.Of course, using this ability with other Water Cards that rearrange the top cards of your deck is quite good if you want to draw Caribbean Moon fast.
If I'm lucky enough I can become Caribbean Moon myself, but only if I'm lucky! -Emperor Gyulum
Yep,Emperor Gyulum can be a good Evolution Bait too.Why need to wait 1 turn in order to evolve Caribbean Moon using him, when you can do it now? With this card,it will be possible.5 mana cost and using any Cyber Creature as bait makes his summoning easier and faster.7000 power is not too shabby either,in fact it is good.
Now on his ability:
- You reveal the top cards of your deck until you reveal a Creature, then put the revealed
cards at the bottom of your deck while summoning the revealed Creature for free.
This is luck dependant, but can be fixed with Water Cards that rearrange the top cards of your deck, such as Aqua Strummer.
In the end,All Lunatic Emperors will need my pure soul. -Sarutahiko,the Great Hero
An Evolution Creature designed for Lunatic Emperors and Luna's Sun Kaisers as well.
With him, you're sure that you have Caribbean Moon in your hand, even if you don't use him as an Evolution Bait. And even if , for some reason , Caribbean Moon falls, the other Lunatic Emperor can avenge him.Which is pretty great.
If you really want to use him as an Evolution Bait, then make sure you're close to summoning Caribbean Moon himself,or otherwise Sarutahiko can be eaten alive by most negative tricks. And 5000:5 is not a great ratio either.
I can't awaken my Lunatic Lord's spirit alone, but if I'm lucky,me and my friends can awaken it as soon as possible! Twilight Sigma, the Super-Electric
Probably one of my favorite cards. When Twilight Sigma is present, all your Cyber Creatures will get an effect similar with the Spell called Force Again, but returned to hand instead of being destroyed. The more, the better but you can't use this on Evolution Creatures!(which is what prevents him to be OP,otherwise you could just summon Caribbean Moon and use him as an Evolution Bait, now we need to wait 1 more turn in order to summon the Lunatic Emperor)
6 mana cost and 8000 power makes him pretty great.Using any Cyber Creature as bait makes him much easier to summon and allows you to replace your weak,low-cost Creatures with high-cost,great Creatures,we will talk about this later of course.Just remember to defend him and all will be ok.
My name is frightening for those who are disciples when it comes to magic!
Here we will talk about what kind of Spells can we use through Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened's effect,it will be separated into 3 sections:
1.Pistols (small ammo):
If we don't care take of him now, then he will take care of us! -Unknown
Not much to say here. This is a Spell that is as old as Base Set,so everyone can recognize it by just looking at the artwork.
Being a Shield Trigger it can be used as soon as you break shields, and 2 mana makes it pretty cheap, use this Spell if you really want an important Creature that got killed. This is obviously effective if you want to revive some high-cost Creatures.
I can't believe how frightening was that,it almost gave me nightmares! -Any non-Darkness Creature
Another Spell who's a Shield Trigger and with 2 mana cost, coming from Base Set.Just like Dark Reversal,it won't save his owner if he get's finished, but it can be used to get rid of your opponent's key cards.
But it is one small example of what can Darkness do:discarding your opponent's hand. The only problem is that your opponent chooses what to discard, not you,but it can be good also if your opponent's hand is full of nice cards.
Eeeermmm, now I need something else in order to reload my ammo! -Bolpheus Heaven,Holy Super Dragon
Mind Reset is highly adviced to use.It gives you one more Spells to choose from your opponent's hand so that Caribbean Moon can use it after this Spell. It is very cheap to summon (only 2 mana),very easy to get (common) and it really helps.
Even if your opponent has no Spells in his hand, you know what tricks he has in his sleeves,so you know how to counter his strategy.
You're so weak, even a little hammer like that can crush you! -Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened
While this Spell isn't used that much outside of some Rush Decks (by then, you should've been finished by now) to counter other Rush Decks,it still has some value. You know, players who use Slow Decks use low-cost,weak Creatures that support their high-cost,powerfull allies. One such example is Cocco Lupia...
With this Spell you will get rid of them immediately, fast and easy. The only problem would be that I've never seen a Slow Deck using a Spell like this one before.
Did you missed me helpless souls? Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened
Force Again is awesome. With this Spell you kill Caribbean Moon then return him to the surface again, using 3 Spells in one turn for free.
Only use this Spell if your opponent has 2 more Spells. If he doesn't,then use it on someone such as Cyber G Hogan or Twilight Sigma.
It is a Shield Trigger with 4 mana cost, which is very decent. Not much to say here, pretty straight-forward.
Creation is here to repair the Spiritual World, while Destruction is here to get rid of it.All of this was done in order to create Earth! -Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened
Crest of Mother,a Spell that everyone and their grandma used before it was restricted to 1.
With this Spell you sacrifice one Creature of yours and put it into mana zone. Then you put another Creature with the same Civilization as the sacrificed one, who's mana cost is equal (or less) with the number of cards in your mana zone and put him into battlefield.
If you are really that desperate, ,you can sacrifice Caribbean Moon himself, but ONLY if you want a Creature that can help you get out of the disavantage that you're in.
Rifles (medium weaponry):
I like that Blaster,do you mind if I use it? -Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened
Ganveet Blaster is a powered up version of Hopeless Vortex, along with 2 Ghost Touches at the cost of 1 Spell.7 mana cost is pretty high, but it is kinda worth it.
While this Spell will basically eat your hand along with 1 Creature,it can be countered. Also, why should Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened die alone when he can take someone with him? After all , most of the time , he will be choosed by this Spell.
Let's see if you can resist against Romanoff's everlasting damnation! -Romanoff Zeta Wizard, the Demon Awakened
This Spell can sometimes be good, sometimes be bad, depending on the situation.7 mana cost makes it pretty high, but the ability to destroy a Creature while summoning a 10 cost Psychic Creature.
The reason why this Spell can be bad sometimes is because your enemy chooses what Creatures he wants to destroy, not you. This can sometimes turn up the situation,an example is when your enemy has someone such as Skull Moon, the Enlightened.
However, with this Spell you can summon some Psychic Creatures of your own which are pretty powerfull, such as Diabolos Zeta, Temporal Ruler!
Just because you destroyed my tactics does not mean I can't share the pain! -Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened
Lost Soul can be a good Spell to use too, just like others before it,cost 7 mana and is a Darkness Spell. If it is used,a player will have to discard his hand.
Usually when your enemy casts this Spell you are screwed unless you're lucky enough to draw someone like Cyber A Irons. However if you have Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened present already, you can use it against him and destroy his hand, thus destroy cards that would otherwise turn the tables.
I love the smell of fresh dead weakling meat! -SUPER Flaming Hell's Scrapper
SUPER Flaming Hell's Scrapper is just like his older version,Hell's Scrapper, killing Rush Decks and Support Creatures with style.
The only difference between this Spell and it's older version is only 6 mana cost, which is retarded if we think about it for a second. But using this will destroy Creatures such as Cocco Lupia with high supportive potential.
Not much to say here tho.
I need someone or something, and I think I know how to do it! -Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened
Hogan Blaster is a pretty good solution if you need to cast a Spell immediately or summon a Creature that might turn the tables on your favor.
Being a Shield Trigger it can be cast if it was broken, and with 5 mana cost it is pretty decent.
However the effectiveness of this card depends a lot of your LUCK.You will either get a weakling that won't help you,an Evolution Creature (you might need to use Caribbean Moon as bait or can't summon him) or a Spell that won't help you.But if you're lucky, you can summon high-cost Creatures such as Cyber J Eleven or Spells like Galaxy Shot - HELL.
Miniguns (Heavy Artillery):
How does it feel.....when you can do nothing but watch how your empire will go down?
Devil Link Taboo is such a worthy Spell for 10 mana cost.
This Spell will completely seal your opponent for a turn, making him unable to cast any Spells or Summon any Creature. This is so usefull I can't even explain it with just words, delaying your opponent would make him annoyed and can turn the tide where otherwise your enemy would summon a Creature/cast a Spell that would turn your game worse.
Even with his 10 mana cost, his Sympathy mechanism makes him cheaper for each Grand Devil or Deep Marine your opponent has in battlefield.
Ready!Aim!FIRE!!! -GILL Supergalactic Dragon
Galaxy Shot - HELL is an endgame Spell without the Sympathy mechanism, unlike the Spell before it.
With this, you destroy any number of hostile Creature with a Total power of 9000 or less. For each enemy Creature slain, your opponent's shields are going to burn.Using this with Water Cards that help you see at your enemy's shields (Hacking Search) is recommended so that you know what kind of Shield Triggers are lurking.
While targeting weaklings with this Spell is highly adviced, don't hesitate to use it on Creature with some power such as Bolmeteus Samurai Dragon, even if you won't burn as much shields.
Only Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened knows the secrets of the Invincible Magic! -Bolbalzak X
Ah yes,the Invincible Spells.
As you can see,all of them cost 13 mana and have no Sympathy mechanism,so they're endgame Spells, even if they have some support.(some Knight Creatures)
For such a high cost , they're all powerfull, either defensively or offensively. Some of them can be cast by some Creatures without cost,(Yes,I'm looking at you Bolpheus) so their high cost isn't that problematic.
The effectiveness of these Spells depends on the situation you're in:
- You want to get rid of your opponent's Creatures fast and swift?Invincible Abyss
- You want to reload and have some more chances?Invincible Aura
- You want to burn your opponent's shields to a crisp in order to deal the finishing blow soon after?Invincible Cataclysm
- You want to get some more Creatures that will help you changing the face of the battle?Invincible Technology
- You want to overpower your Creatures?Invincible Unity
Yeah,I'm typing this on blue because Invincible Technology is one of my favorites.
With only 1 move, the Earth soil grown so fast it reached even the Heaven! -Baban Ban Ban,Earth's Blessing
Mana Bonanza is the nerfed Spell Version of Baban Ban Ban,Earth's Blessing.
Unlike Baban, you put the top cards of your deck into mana zone tapped for each mana card you have.
You can use this Spell to open the gate for any powerfull Creature, but this would most likely happen at your next turn, which is great.
However,Baban Ban Ban makes this Spell a bit obsolete if we think about it,especially since he can be summoned from Mana Zone and won't tap your cards that are put into mana zone from top of your deck, which makes some combinations possible.(such as Bolbalzak X + [insert random powerfull Creature here)
The only thing stronger that the deadly chains of doom is my mystical hands! -Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened
Your opponent casts this Spell in order to get rid of our Lunatic Emperor?Cast this Spell yourself and get 2 hostile Creatures in hell with you!
This is the Spell version of Olzekia,General of Decapitation.Because of this, most people use Olzekia instead of this Spell, which kinda makes our Lunatic Emperor less usefull.
What's even worse is that you can use this Spell even if you don't have Creatures in battlefield, which can destroy Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened without problems.
Of course, there are more examples than just these (such as Inferno Sign and Great Link Technology) but these are the most fun examples in my opinion.
Let me show you the path to my powers, little kraken:
Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened is used in anti-Spell Decks, some mono-Water Decks and some Cyber Decks (Decks with Cyber Creatures in them) as a "Spell manipulator".When he's present,he has control over any Spell your opponent would bring, even if he would die.
However, some people will find themselves building a deck around him, because he's way too weak for his high-cost.
Strategy?Depends on what do you mean by "strategy":
So,you ask how to use Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened strategically?
Well, before even thinking off using him,ask yourself:
Does your opponent run Spells in his deck?Or he doesnt?
You can easily answer this question if you look at his deck.Just avoid any Creature Deck, unless you want to troll.(one example of a Creature deck is my Cyber Domination deck)
If you run up against a Hyperspatial Deck or any deck which relies too much on Spells, then that is your lucky day, because you can use his weapons against him.
However, after you summon him,be VERY carefull when you attack,at his level he can be crushed by many Creatures especially if he's tapped.
An Emperor is never alone:
You have no chance against the number 1 Cyber Command! -Cyber G Hogan
Cyber G Hogan is a monster with very high synergy and big muscles.
8000:8 is not a good ratio, but that's not why this Card is awesome. He introduces for us the Chain Cascade ability, which allows you to look at the top 2 cards of your deck.If they are Creatures that cost LESS (not equal) than Cyber G Hogan, you put them into battlefield for free!
Caribbean Moon the Enlightened has 7 mana cost, which is less than Hogan's cost,so he can be put into battlefield without any efforts,as long as you have the Evolution Bait required for him.
This is easily done like this:
1. Use a Card that rearranges the top cards of your deck.(Aqua Strummer)
2. Make sure that you have at least 2 Cyber Creatures (and no Evolution Cyber) in order to evolve one of them into Twilight Sigma, the Super-Electric.(the more, the better)
3. Use Twilight Sigma's effect to replace that Cyber Creature with Cyber G Hogan!
4. Use Cyber G Hogan's effect to find Caribbean Moon and evolve him on top off Twilight Sigma.
All of this is done in 1 turn,as long as you have the conditions required for it!
You ask me if my revelations are accurate or not?Well this really depends on who's present! -El Destorade, Dragonic Meteor of Taiga
El Destorade,Dragonic Meteor of Taiga is quite interesting.Playing with Light allows for some fun combos.
A Creature that cost 7 mana cost with 6000 power, which is not a great ratio.Magic Soul and Holy Soul are just a bonus.Apollonia Dragon and Cyber Command races are quite interesting if combined, giving him some support and giving him some synergy with Twilight Sigma.
His ability can be used 2 ways, both used when you summon your first Creature:
- If you have less shields than your opponent you put the top card into shield zone.I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS!Ok I recommend this only if you're sure you put a Shield Trigger into shield-zone.
- If you have more (or equal) shields than you opponent you look at the top card of your deck.If that is a Creature, you put it into battlefield, but only if the Creature you summoned first has more cost than that Creature.
There are 2 ways of summoning Caribbean Moon through this ability:
1. - Rearranging the top cards of your deck, summoning El Destorade first (he counts),summoning Twilight Sigma and using El Destorade as Bait, replacing one other non-evolution Cyber Creature with Cyber G Hogan and using G Hogan's effect to search for Caribbean Moon and evolving him on top off Twilight Sigma.Make sure you have at least 2 Cyber Creatures in your battlefield.
2. - Just summon Cyber G Hogan, but make sure you have rearranged and have at least one evolution Creature and El Destorade.Since his cost is 8,you can summon Caribbean Moon fast and easy. This requires you to go to the "endgame" point of the game tho.
Magic is something I detest,be it "white" magic or dark magic! -Light Divine Dragon Spell Del Fin
Light Divine Dragon Spell Del Fin is one of my favorites.
When he's present, your opponent is completely sealed and revealed. He will play with his hand face-up and he can't cast any Spell. Not only that but he will grow bigger when he sees useless Spells in his opponent's hands, that explains his low power for such a high cost of 9!
By the time he's up,you should have Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened up and going and your enemy's grave should have some Spells. If he doesn't,then try to cast Del Fin when the time is right so that you won't find yourself crippling our Lunatic Emperor.
The perfect time for Del Fin to rise would be if your enemy has discarding Spells such as Lost Soul,so that you can empty his hand full of Spells and use them again. This way you can play with your opponent's toys while he can't.
Being Apollonia Dragon and Light Creature,he asks for some "deck building knowledge",but it shouldn't be that hard when we have El Destorade.
Woe to you,O wicked souls!Do not think that you will ever see the surface again! -Black Ganveet, Legion of Demise
Black Ganveet might have some fancy effects that can make him awesome, but using him in general makes you think twice.
Let me tell you why:When he attacks, both you and your enemy are empty-handed after his attack! This is done in order to activate his No Choice ability, which increases his power from 7000 to 12000,which is very great at 7 mana cost and no Evolution restriction.
Combined with Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened and Light Divine Dragon Spell Del Fin,you can reload ammo (Spells) to use against your enemy again.
However try to time his attacks, just like you would time Del Fin's presence, you don't want to find yourself empty-handed.
I can help my Emperor without destroying, just wait and see! -Ribbit NICE Hanzou
There are some times when you want to attack that annoying Creature instead of your opponent's shield with Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened or some other Creature, but that Creature's powerlevel is way too high to kill it.
This is where Cards such as Ribbit NICE Hanzou come in handy! When he's present a Creature will get -6000 power.A Creature with 0 power is destroyed, but this is different in comparison with , say , Terror Pit.
With such an ability,Creatures with 11500 power or less are food for our Lunatic Emperor! This is done in order to reload and fire without hurting our enemy's defences.
However don't hesitate to use this ability in order to get rid of someone like Bolmeteus Samurai Dragon so that he won't end Caribbean Moon's life.
He has high cost (7),but if your opponent was foolish enough to discard him, then he will have to face his presence.
Why don't you let me use my earthly powers instead of using that outdated Spell? -Baban Ban Ban,Earth's Blessing
Baban Ban Ban,Earth's Blessing is a Creature that we've talked before.
When he's present,Earth's soil will begin to grow so fast that it is almost unbelievable.
With his presence, you put the top cards in your mana zone for each mana card you have,so this means that if you have 8 (his mana cost) then your mana will become 16,which is almost overwhelming. It is even better if you summon him from mana zone. You are sure that you will summon Caribbean Moon at your next turn at least if you didn't done it now.
The only problem you might have is that he is an endgame Creature. If you try to support him then his ability would be less effective.
I am not destined to be strong, but that doesn't mean my enemies shouldn't fear me!
I was supposed to be scared by you? -Bolmeteus Samurai Dragon
Bolmeteus Samurai Dragon is really annoying.
With Armored Dragon race he can be summoned early,so early that not even the Creature that was supposed to start the Evolution Saga would survive!(unless it has more than 6000 power, but then why would you waste it?) Even without support his 6 mana cost makes him cheaper than Caribbean Moon!
Let me tell you why is he that annoying:when he attacks, one shield is burnt in order to destroy a Creature with 6000 or less powerlevel. He might burn his commander's defences, but Creatures such as Samurai Lupia will bring a new shield back.
However,if we take a look at him,he's not that strong either.Ribbit NICE Hanzou or even your own Bolmeteus Samurai Dragon can counter him.
All this mess drives me insane, you can't fight without having to leave so much dirt? This is what humans call it "pollution" after all. - Cyber N World
Cyber N World is annoying as well.
6 mana cost with 6000 power is not that impressive, but his ability is what makes him viable.
With his presence, graveyard and hands from both sides are shuffled back into their owner's deck, after that each player draws 5 cards.
This is really frustrating and will make our Caribbean Moon completely useless, because he is out of ammo. However it can also help if you we're empty handed before.
Just try to make sure you summoned Black Ganveet,Legion of Demise before your enemy summoned Cyber N World, because he will cut N World's usefullness in half.
I never said I liked Caribbean Moon before,I am stronger than him when it comes to manipulating magic! -Light Divine Dragon Spell Del Fin
Our best ally can also be our sworn enemy.
I don't have much to say here because it was already said before, and by that I mean his stats.
The reason why he can be really effective is because not only he can reveal your strategy by having to play with hands face-up,but you can't cast any Spells either. And remember that Caribbean Moon's effect is written with "you may CAST".
Try to kill him while he's tapped and weak (you don't have any Spells on your hand) or try to use someone such as Ribbit NICE Hanzou in order to make him weak enough to kill him,or even kill him instantly.
Also,Black Ganveet,Legion of Demise will decrease his power by discarding hands,he can be strong enough to kill Del Fin too.
You have no choice but to kneel! -Eternal Meteor Kaiser
Eternal Meteor Kaiser is probably one of the most annoying Creatures I've ever seen.
With his presence his enemies are coming weak and full of sorrow while his allies will come full of rage!
8 mana cost makes him a bit more expensive than Caribbean Moon, and 8000 power at that level is not impressive, but by having the Dragon race he get's enough support to make him behave like a rushing Creature if not taken care off.
What's even worse is that he makes Black Ganveet,Legion of Demise,Lost Soul and any other discarding card obsolete because he can be summoned for FREE if discarded!
Try to take care of his support and to kill him using some Spells like Terror Pit or Creatures such as Ribbit NICE Hanzou, but it is easier said than done.
I knew you we're too weak to fight from the moment you we're born! -Nariel,the Oracle
Nariel, the Oracle is another annoying Creature that is now restricted to 1.
4 mana cost makes him cheaper than Caribbean Moon, and while 1000 power makes him very weak at his level, the ability to seal any Creature with 3000 power or more is terrifying and will cut Caribbean Moon's usefullness in half, and not only him!
Creatures that have 2500 power or less can kill him and break the seal, but Noble Enforcer will make you think twice! The real counters against him are Spells that get rid of weaklings, such as Crimson Hammer.
Even if I look like I'm weak,I shouldn't be underestimated!
- Pretty good ability that can make Spells turn against their own caster.
- Badass artwork. (we will talk about that later)
- One of the most interesting Cyber Commands and Lunatic Emperor alike.
So many weaknessess I cannot control...
- The most weakest Lunatic Emperor available.(this is a weakness that every usefull Water Creature has,not just him)
- 7 mana cost,at just 6000 power you might feel that is not even worth the effort.
- Completely useless against Decks without Spells in them.
- Prone to most tricks.
At the moment I try to enlighten myself even more so that I can at least shapeshift, but I fail over and over again.........
There is only one version of Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened, written in japanese without foil:
DM-33 Rising Dragon (S2/S5 - Super Rare) version
Even if I can't shapeshift I'm still beautifull no?
I don't know you , my reader , but this Creature reminds me off:
Maybe this is why I have the intention to scream RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!! whenever I summon Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened.
Anyway,back on the subject:
Ittoku made yet another perfect Creature when it comes to artwork, besides Light Divine Dragon Spell Del Fin,I think he's my 2nd favorite artist just behind Toshiaki Takayama.
If we take a look at Caribbean Moon, the Enlightened, then we have a feeling that he knows how to controll all the magic!Water Civilization is known for science and Creatures that won fights by thinking with their big minds instead of using brute force, our Lunatic Emperor is no exception,he does it before humiliating his enemies by fighting against them with their own weapons!
Opinions are always welcome!
I give this card an 8/10.
I just wished he had some more power at his level,6000 power is just........slim.
That and combined with the effort required to summon him,Ultimate Evolution mechanism and 7 mana cost makes it very frustrating when you lose him at your next turn.
However, this Creature can be fun to play when he gives you a "Stop hitting yourself!" moment over your opponent. Not only that but your opponent knows he can't escape that easily without having to receive a big slap in the face from our Lunatic Emperor.(Caribbean Moon's effects says "when this Creature leaves the battlezone" so it won't make a difference if he would be destroyed, bounced back in your hand or put in mana zone, because he will still get this effect)
