Big Shield Gardna for a while was not even thought of being decked because nobleman was not a major threat at the time. Also this card has a major setback to it that when it is attacked it is autimatically changed to attack mode
This card is used mainly to make ur opponent waste a nobleman of crossout on it but it is also used wen ur opponent only has 1 monster on the field. This card can cause ur opponent great pain with its incredible 2600 defense on a 4 star monster.
Strategies and game play:
This Big guy, as I have already stated, is mostly ment to have your opponent waste a noblemans so that your magician of faith, night assailant, or dekoichi is much safer (especially if u have multiples. Big shield can also take a(1) hit. Unfortunately after that hit a treeborn frog is enough to take him down
Combos with other cards:
Big shields main setback can easily be used against ur opponent. Say your opponent attacks the face up big shield with a cyber dragon after trying to nobleman it. Your opponent here has taken 500 well they also have somethin like a spirit reaper and plan on taking down big shield with that. Well when they attack chain book of moon(if on the field) and flip big shield face down. This way ur opponent just took 2800 and wasted a nobleman on one card u can just change to defense again next turn nd hopefully something to protect from the second, or third attack. The only other combo i can think of is with dark door (http://www.tradecardsonline.com/im/selectCard/card43474/clang1) which can solve the multiple attack problem(unless they have a mataza the zapper or something else that may attack twice).
Ways to counteract it:
Smashing Ground after nobleman, mystic swordsmans, exiled force
2600 defense 4 star, negates one spell card designating him facedown(nobleman of crossout)
Changes to attack position after being attacked once. Easily taken out by swordsmans and even frog after it is changed to attach position because of opponents previous attack.
This card comes super rare in tp 5 and ultra rare in db1
Artwork and aesthetics:
The card isd ok i dont think it is n e thing special but the ultra rare version does look pretty kool because its ultra rare.
I would give this card a 7-8 in just n e deck, a 10 in f/d decks, and a 9 in decks that he just works well in because of how the deck plays.
