(At the start of the game, separate your psychic creatures from your deck and put them into the hyperspatial zone. If a psychic creature would leave the battle zone, return it to the hyperspatial zone instead.)

General description:
Hi. This is my fourth review, I hope you guys will like it also.
I was waiting from a long time for DMR-04 to come on tco and finally its here so this is the first creature that took my interest. This time its a psychic creature "Victory Gaial Kaiser" this creature is introduced in DMR-04



As its a new creature so at this time most of the people think of it only as a part of "Gaial Ore Dragon, the Vainglory"

But in my opinion this card is itself a great card for use. So let's have a look that what this card is capable of and what can we do with it.

Uses:



■ Speed attacker (This creature doesn't get summoning sickness.)

■ During the turn this creature was put into the battle zone, this creature can attack untapped creatures.

The good points of this card are

1. This is a three civilization card i-e Darkness/Fire/Nature

So it can be easily used in any deck of those civilizations, the deck can either be mono civilization or multi-civilization. And if we look on its effect i-e speed attacking , and ability to attack untap creatures.

So this card can be easily summoned by any of the following spells i-e "Hyperspatial Faerie Hole"



"Hyperspatial Bolshack Hole"



"Hyperspatial Revive Hole"



"Hyperspatial Emperor Hole"



"Hyperspatial Shooting Hole"



It can be instant killer for small irritating creatures like Maxval, Electro-Fuuma



If your opponent have it then all of your opponent's dark creature will cost 1 less , so destroying it will be a good decision.

Super Trash Train, Fumma



This card's effect is that whenever a creature is destroyed you can draw a card. So your opponent will get enough draw if he have this in battle zone so you should destroy it before it comes more dangerous .

And also all those small creatures which gives big problem if they stay in battle zone.
It's very obvious that you can give this card power boost in some ways to make it more powerful for example some fortress which give power boost like "

Snowmandy, Fortress of Snow"



this will give a power boost of +3000 , so a attacker of 8000 is better than 5000.

"Balzark, Sword Flash Fortress"



Its effect is

■ All of your creatures break twice as many shields.

It won't give power to your Victroy Gaial Kaiser , but it will make it a double breaker and also all of your other creatures double breaker which will be summoned with the help of Victory Gaial Kaiser. How to summon the extra creature you will learn it in combo section.

and other spells like "Burning Power"



It will give +2000 power and in same manner "Magma Gazer"



it will give +4000 power , as well as double breaker.

"Muscle Charger"



it will give +3000 power as well as an extra mana for you.

That's pretty much about summoning it and giving it extra power using fortress and some small good spells and also using it to destroy small threats. Now let's move on to its strategies.

Strategies and game play:

There are some creatures which can be used to summon this creature for example

"Dimension Horn, the Temporal Foundation"



the effect of this creature is

■ Instead of attacking with this creature, you may tap it to use its tap ability.

Destroy this creature. Then, put up to 2 nature psychic creatures into the battle zone from your hyperspatial zone with a total cost less than or equal to the number of cards in your mana zone.


Though you will have to wait for one turn to use this creature to summon Victory Gaial , another creature which can be used to summon it is "Raging Apache Lizard"



The effect of this creature is

■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, put a fire or nature psychic creature with a cost of 8 or less into the battle zone from your hyperspatial zone

But these two are just a way to summon "Victory Gaial" but not recommended , as using those 5 mana spells and summoning it easier.

Now lets see different combos using "Victory Gaial"

Deck Milling Combo :

The most famous deck milling combos in these days are using "Crimson Rage"



with "Codename Sorge"

Another way to do a deck milling combo is using "Zabi Mira, the Reviving Shaman "



The effect of this creature is

■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, you may destroy any number of your other creatures. For each creature destroyed, you may put a psychic creature with a cost of 6 or less into the battle zone from your hyperspatial zone.

So the combo is you summon small creatures and then summon Zabi Mira to destroy 4 small creatures and summon 4 "Volg Thunder"



the effect of Volg thunder is

■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, choose a player. That player puts cards from the top of his deck into the graveyard until 2 creatures have been put into the graveyard in this way.
■ Double breaker

Ok so now i will tell you how to do a milling combo with "Victory Gaial"

You need to have "Crimson Rage" in battle zone , effect of crimson rage is

■ When one of your fire or nature Hunters wins a battle, you may put a Hunter that costs less than that Hunter from your mana zone or hyperspatial zone into the battle zone.
■ Double breaker


then if you are playing against a rush deck then just summon Victory Gaial and use a small spell "Fists of Forever"



Its effect is

■ Choose one of your creatures in the battle zone. Whenever that creature wins a battle this turn, untap it.

after that all you have to do is attack on your opponent's creatures and destroy them , then according to effect of "Crimson Rage" you can easily summon 1 volg for each creature you destroyed and start milling of your opponent's deck. Atmost you can summon 4 volg thunder
and if even after that your opponent have small creatures in battle zone you can easily summon other psychics with cost 6 or less in battle zone.
If you are using same combo against a Control deck or Heavy Blocker's deck. Then you need to make your Victory Gaial powerful enough to destroy your opponent's creature or an easy way is to give it the effect to win all battles through
"Super Winning Star, the Patroller"



This will make your victory creatures blocker , and will give them effect "Win all the battles" and also untap at the end of your turn.
So its a pretty good combo , another card that you can use is
"Silver Glory, Invincible Fortress"



the effect of this fortress is All your creatures wins all battles.

So against Heavy Blockers deck or control deck which have big creatures , either use Silver Glory or Super Winning Star Patroller , then use Fists of Forever and attack you opponent's creature and summon Volg thunder according to Crimson Rage effect. Specially a control deck is based on a lot of spells so against that kind of deck this combo will work nicely.

One Turn Kill Combo :

Another way of using Victory Gaial to finish the game in one turn is , have Crimson Rage on battle zone and in same manner as discussed above summon Victory Gaial , use fists of forever and if opponent have small power creatures then just attack and destroy two of you opponent's creature and if you are playing against heavy power creatures then you can use Super Winning Patroller/Silver Glory as mentioned above,then due to the effect of Crimson Rage summon the other two parts of
GAIAL ORE DRAGON



The effect of Gaial Ore Dragon is

■ Speed attacker (This creature doesn't get summoning sickness.)
■ Hunting (During battle, this creature gets +1000 power for each of your Hunter creatures in the battle zone)
■ When this creature wins a battle, untap this creature, then choose two of your opponent's shields. Add those shields to your opponent's hand.

■ World breaker (This creature breaks all of your opponent's shields.)

■ Link Release (When this creature would leave the battle zone, return 1 psychic cell to your hyperspatial zone and flip the other cards instead.)


The other two buddies of Victory Gaial are "Victory Meteor Kaiser"



Its effect is

■ When your opponent puts a card into his mana zone, it is put into the mana zone tapped.
■ Double breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.)


"Victory Pudding Pudding"



Its effect is

■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, choose one of your opponent's creatures. Until the start of your next turn, that creature can't attack or block.
■ Victory Psychic Link—If you have Victorious Meteor Kaiser and Victorious Gaial Kaiser in the battle zone, link this creature and those creatures and flip them.


The best thing about this psychic link is that as soon as you get all three parts out you can link it instantly you do not have to wait for the start of your turn and you get a 26000+ world breaker not a bad deal at all.
Ofcourse you can also summon other 2 parts of Crimson Rage also which are

"Quatro Fang, Soul Gang Leader"



Its effect is

■ At the start of your turn, you may put the top card of your deck into the mana zone.
■ Double breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.)


"Kachikomi tube"



its effect is

■ Psychic Link—At the start of your turn, if you have Crimson Rage, the Imperial Ogre Blade and Quatro Fang, Soul Gang Leader, link them to this creature and flip it.
■ Hunting (During battle, this creature gets +1000 power for each of your Hunter creatures in the battle zone)


But in this way you have to wait for one turn to link it and then use it to its full extent Crimson Rage + Quatro Fang + Kachikomi tube makes
"Chopping Ruzou, Rude Mincing Gang Leader"



Its effect is

■ When this creature link awakens, you may put any number of Hunter creatures into the battle zone from your mana zone or hyperspatial zone.
■ Triple breaker (This creature breaks 3 shields)


So my recommendation is that you summon other 2 parts of Victory Gaial and link it right away.

Spamming Creatures Combo :

This one is my favorite and i guess a little tricky to use. For this combo you need some specific cards in battle zone one of them is as discussed above is Crimson Rage and the other one will be
"Blazing Boss! Vals Kaiser"



Its effect is

■ Whenever one of your Hunters attacks, put the top card of your deck into your graveyard. If that card is a non-evolution Hunter creature that costs less than the attacking creature, you may put it into the battle zone.
■ Hunting (During battle, this creature gets +1000 power for each of your Hunter creatures in the battle zone)
■ Double breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.)


so here is the strategy you use it in a deck full of hunters , use fists of forever and you attack with Victroy Gaial then due to crimson rage effect when you will win battle you can summon a hunter from your psychic zone or from your mana zone that is your choice + due to the effect of Blazing Boss! you will also reveal top card of your deck and it comes out to be a hunter (luckily) so you can put it in battle zone also , so that means one attack a creature from mana zone and a creature from deck is a good combo. and If you want to make it more deadly then you can use a small card "Galaxy Falcon, Counterattack Fortress"



This will make all of your hunters speed attacker. So with this combo every hunter that you will summon will become a speed attacker.

Random Combos :

This card can also be used with other cards, one of them is "Dias Zeta, the Temporal Suppressor/ Diabolos Zeta, Annihilation Awakened. "



Its effect is

■ Annihilating Soul Recall 4 (When this creature attacks, you may choose 4 cards from either your opponent's graveyard, your graveyard, or 4 cards from both graveyards. Put the chosen cards on the bottom of their owner's deck. For every 4 cards chosen, you may activate the following effect
your opponent chooses a card in their hand or battle zone and puts it on the bottom of their deck.
■ Double breaker
■ Awaken—At the end of your turn, if 3 or more of your opponent's creatures left the battle zone this turn, flip this creature.


So to awake this creature you need that 3 creatures of your opponent leave battle zone to awake it to this side



its effect is

■ Each of your opponent's creatures in the battle zone gets -5000 power.
■ Each of your other creatures in the battle zone gets +5000 power.
■ Quadruple breaker (This creature breaks 4 shields.)

■ Release (Whenever this creature would leave the battle zone, flip it instead.)


in this case Victory Gaial can help you , summon it use fists of forever and then destroy 3 of your opponent's creature and Diabolos Zeta will be at your service. And also if you want to then you can summon the Almighty psychic evolution
"Storm Genji Double Cross, the Super Temporal"



Its effect is

■ Super Infinite Evolution—Put this creature on any number of psychic creature(s) with a total cost of 20 or more.
■ Whenever you put psychic creatures into the battle zone or awaken them, you may put this creature into the battle zone from your hyperspatial zone.
■ Meteorburn Awaken—At the start of your turn, put all the cards under this creature into your graveyard and flip this creature.

■ Quadruple breaker (This creature breaks 4 shields.)


so you can summon it because victory gaial cost 7 and awakened Diabolos cost 16 16+7=23 so you can evolve it and in next turn can easily awake it into
"Last Storm Double Cross, the Super Awakened"



its effect is

■ Whenever your opponent would choose a creature in the battle zone, they can't choose this one. (It can still be attacked and blocked.)
■ When this creature attacks, you may put any amount of psychic creature(s) with a cost of 10 or less from your hyperspatial zone into the battle zone.
■ World breaker (This creature breaks all of your opponent's shields.)


so it attacks and you can summon all your psychics in battle zone.

Another card which makes a good pair with it is
"Pudding Pudding, the Eternal"



Its effect is

■ All of your Aliens in the battle zone, your mana zone, and your graveyard become Hunters in addition to their current race(s).
■ All of your Hunters in the battle zone, your mana zone, and your graveyard become Aliens in addition to their current race(s).
■ When this creature loses a battle, it stays in the battle zone instead of going to your graveyard.


So all those combos which i discussed above using Crimson Rage and Victroy Gaial will become more vast as you will also be able to summon alien from mana .

Another card which fits perfectly with Victory Gaial Kaiser is
"Gaial Abare Kaiser, the Raging"



Its effect is

■ When one of your Hunters wins a battle by attacking, untap this creature and choose one of your opponent's shields. Add that shield to your opponent's hand.
■ Double breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.)


So once you made your Gaial Kaiser infinite attacker with Fists of Forever you can destroy creatures and also destroy one shield for each creature you destroy , so 5 creatures means 5 shields gone and Gaial Abare Kaiser will also get untapped every time so its a very good combo.

That's all for now about its combos i will add more as soon as i will come to know them.Let's move on to the ways to counteract it.

Ways to counteract it:

So the common spells which are used as a counter against a creature which are Terror Pit , Spiral Gate etc, and all other removing spells can be used to destroy it or return it. But actually because this creature is a speed attacker so they can't be said as perfect counters against it.

So the best way to counter this card is using some small slayer blockers such as
"Pier Psycho Doll"



Its effect is
■ Whenever an opponent's creature attacks, this creature blocks if able.
■ This creature can't attack.

■ Slayer (Whenever this creature battles, destroy the other creature after the battle.)


so it is a natural counter for it. Morever if you are using a alien deck then the card which can help you is "Alien Father <Just 1 Song?>"



Its effect is

■ All Aliens in the battle zone gain "Slayer". (After a creature with "Slayer" battles, destroy the other creature.)

so all your aliens will become a natural counter for Victory Gaial .

Strengths/Pros:

The advantages of this card are

1. It contains 3 civilizations so it can be easily summoned by various spells.
2. It is a speed attacker so it can work as soon as it is summoned.
3. It can attack untapped creatures easily and with the help of small spells it can be devastating

Weaknesses/Cons:

The weaknesses of this card are that its power is only 5000 and its a hunter but do not have hunting which is a little problem.And as discussed above slayers are a natural weakness of this card. Other than that there are not much weaknesses of this card.

Variations:

So far this card is only printed in japanese , and it has no promotional version.




Artwork and aesthetics:

The artist who drew Gaial Kaiser is Hisanobu Kometani. And i think he uses crimson as the base color to make a slender streamline dragon it holds a large sword , which is perhaps flaming and it's in a stance to cut things in half. So i like its artwork a lot , a dragon with sword its cool and some how i think it resembles "Gaial Kaiser"



though it has only one sword instead of 2 .
Overall rating:

I give this card 8/10 . 2 points less bcoz first its power is only 5000 and second despite of being hunter it do not have hunting.
