Alexandrite Dragon is very much the best level 4 or lower dragon-type monster out there. Despite it's low 100 defense, with 2000 attack points and no effect to maybe restrict its' uses, it has got to be the top new card. Cards like Axe Dragonute, have an effect that will possibly make the card get removed from the field, because of his low defense. And being a level 4 monster, Alexandrite can also be easier to be used as a synchro-material monster to bring out some of the strongest monsters in Dueling history like Void Ogre Dragon or Stardust Dragon. And synchros like Stardust can be used to summon even bigger and badder monsters like Majestic Star Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon. Not to mention an old fusion monster that requires just 5 Dragons! Alexandrite's atk also helps your lp stay high for those cards with level 4 2000 def, and cards with 2000 atk and level 4 are rare and unexpected by your opponents, so say they take their turn first and assume you can't bring out anything stronger than 1800 atk on the first turn. So yes this Dragon can heavily bring doomsday on your opponents in many different ways and should not be taken for granted!

I will agree that this is a good and versatile card. However, the proclamation of it being the best Level 4 dragon is a bit high.

This card is good but there are better level 4 or lower it is good with attack wise but strategy wise maybe exploder dragon, debris dragon, or possibly even decoy dragon

While this dragon is the best lvl 4 dragon in terms of stats dispite its vanilla style its very useful...this is probably the best normal summon light vanilla for a lightray deck trust me i know it works wonders in mine. Also viable by rescue rabbit so in actuallity it really helps. Not too many people would look at it like i do but now since i thought about it this actually really builds on a light based deck. Hmm....think about it for a minute!!!!

i agree that this card is one of the best but not the best in all there are other cards also which are better than this card but i still say its one of the best cards not the only best card

Not all too informative bud. Name some combos, like Rescue Rabbit, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, Honest, there's a whole bunch of stuff out there for this card.

well i did name combos in a way, plus the point of this review is making an easy normal summon of 2000 attack. i am glad this is review of the week guys thanks! i will do better in the future with these.
