Skyla is one of the best cards to come out of the Boundaries Crossed set. The ability to get a Trainer card from your deck with no drawback is great, and is generally a great Supporter. However, it disrupts Random Receiver and is your SUpporter for the turn.
Skyla can be used to grab an essential Trainer when you need it. Say you need a to Switch out your Active Pokemon, Skyla can grab that. Need a Catcher a Pokemon to take your last prizes? Skyla can grab that too. Need a Stadium? Skyla can also grab that.
If you just need to draw, you can use Skyla to grab a Supporter too, though hopefully you aren't in that kind of situation.
Strategies and game play:
Skyla is straight up get what you need, when you need it. It's a very straightforward card, grab a card that you need, and use it.
Combos with other cards:
Any Trainer card combos with it, but search cards pair well with it. Cards like Computer Search, Ultra Ball and Energy Search gives you access to all the cards in the deck, making it a very powerful card to use.
*Let's you search for cards in your deck when you need them.
*Is your Supporter for the turn, meaning that you can't draw for the turn.
*Clashes with Random Receiver
There's a reverse holo and FA version.
Modified: Overall a great card that let's you search your deck for a card. 9.5/10
Limited: If you get a Trainer (which you most likely will), it let's you get those Trainers, which is extremely useful. Unfortunately, it does not allow you to get certain cards in this format, so it's a risky card to put in your deck, but its worth the space if you get another Trainer card. 8.5/10
