General description:
To me Platina Ezel is one of the best cards to work with. It already has a standard 13k if Blond Ezel is in the soul, making it harder for your opponent to deal damage to you.
Uses:
It's Ultimate Break is very useful, unlike Soul Savior Dragon that can power up 3 units, Platina Ezel can power up to 5 making the opponent guard an extra 10k SLD for every attack.
Strategies and game play:
It's wise to use it in the late game when your opponent has 4 or more damage which can make him lose a couple ten thousands of SLD to block your attacks to avoid losing the game.
Combos with other cards:
Units that get powered up by Ezel are essential around this kind of build making your opponent take more damage and losing more SLD, like : Badgemagus
You can also combine this card with Corron to get it Easier.
Ways to counteract it:
Prevent the opponent from having 5 damage and instead attack his rear-guard when he has 4 damage and his doomed. Finish the game when he has 4 damage at the start of your turn.
Strengths/Pros:
Able to decraese opponent's hand massively.
Easily able to finish the game when opponent has 4 or more damage
Weaknesses/Cons:
Not having enough unfliped damage or having only 4 damage and your doomed.
Variations:
It is only available in Japanese in the Booster Set 9 : Clash of the Knights and Dragons
Artwork and aesthetics:
I like it very much. It resembles a little of Majesty Lord Blaster having both "Light" and "Shadow" attributes.
Overall rating:
Overall I would give this card a 9.2.
