"Pure battle maiden, cut through the darkness with your moonlit bow! I ride Battle Deity of the Night, Artemis!" Misaki Tokura

This is a very interesting card and is the head of the genesis clan. This card is very similar to its older version, Goddess of the Full Moon Tsukuyomi.

Even though their skills are very similar Artemis has more of a offense side since she has to attack to activate it and she gains 5k when she does use that skill. Anyways let's move on to the other good stuff!

Uses:
This card can be used in many different ways:
Game finisher or to get some hand advantage
Being only a 10k unit it only works in the vanguard circle since it's completely vulnerable in the rearguard circle and a waste of space which could be used for far greater units like sabohime, paprika, or callaway.

Strategies and game play:
This card needs a lot of soul for her to actually be good. That is why Himiko (Metis), Tatsutahime, and Sabohime are staples in this deck and without it this deck would be doomed to fail.

Combos with other cards:
This card can combo of with Tatsutahime and sabohime because when you Limit Break then you can try and have Sabohime or Tatsutahime attack hit that way your Limit Break won't cost anything. (Beware of Deck Out)

EDIT: It has come to my attention and testing that using the Full Moon Chain also works as well becuase if you were able to get all 3 Tsukuyomi in the soul that would already grant you a total of 5 soul and 12-15 stacked cards at the bottom of the deck. With Genesis massive soul charging plus this cards Limit Break getting to the stack is no big feat at all.

Ways to counteract it:
The best way to counteract this card is to rush or if you don't have a deck and you have one like OTT, maybe Bermudas, and etc. then using a perfect guard would be your best choice. Since by rushing, your either going to give pressure to guard since there going to be about 4 cards in the damage vs. your only about 1. By making them guard they will lose hand advantage but also field scalability.

Strengths/Pros:
This cards ride chain generates you many pluses since if you don't ride any of the Artemis then it won't hurt you since you can many other substitutes to back her up. Since this cards Limit Break doesn't cost much you can use it consecutively with the help of a few cards like cumin, tatsutahime, sabohime, etc. Even if you don't get its +1000 with Twilight Hunter Artemis in the soul then you can easily soul charge it with the many cards that i have already listed.

Weaknesses/Cons:
This card like many other cards in the Genesis clan needs a lot of set-up before actually being able to use Artemis, Iwanagahime, etc. Because it is a potential 10k unit and anything can hit it plus with todays meta any deck can easily get to 20000 of your not careful. Considering it's an auto skill you can only use it once per turn unlike Tsukuyomi which can be activated more then once. This deck has a huge potential to deck out with the constant drawing with Artemis and Callaway or huge amounts of soul charging from Metis, Himiko, Sabohime and etc. theres always a chance of decking out so be warned.

Variations:
So far this card has only been printed in Japan and only available in Japan/ Japanese. Of course the set she will be released in English will be approximately in October. This card also comes in a SP form so you can also get your hands on that too.

EDIT: On to the skill...
Just like Tsukuyomi you get the ability to draw 2 and soul-charge one card from your hand but of course you can do this at a later time since it is a Limit Break and not an Activate Skill like Tsukuyomi. Also un-like Tsukuyomi it can only be activated once because it is an Auto Skill so even though you get to do it only once for the turn; you actually (looking at the big picture) get to do it more times then Tsukuyomi (1-3) considering Artemis (1-5) soul-blast instead of counter blasts.

Artwork and aesthetics:
This cards art is very interesting. It's definitely unique but the only thing I find wrong about this her is she looks a lot more aggressive then she actually is... but her outfit does scream "MOON." Especially with her headdress with having 3 crescent moons on it also on her bow as well. Unlike CEO Amaterasu she looks a lot more versatile. I am exceptionally happy that they gave her the bow and arrows just like in Greek Mythology. Even though in technical terms she should still be a little girl but she still looks great.

Overall rating:
This deck is not a bad card at all but there are some tweaks that should totally be made in the clan, the ride chain and the card herself.
So in the end i give this card a 8.5.
Thank You for reading more is coming up later on!

sorry aaronrob23, what i meant was that she was the only deck of genesis at the time so i considered her the head since there were no other decks released until set 11.
