Jar of Greed
An overlooked necessity?

General description:

Jar of Greed, pretty simple card. Easy to use, straight forward directions. I love this card and I think it has been overlooked and shunned for years. The big brother, Pot of Greed, does have a way better effect, but... Jar of Greed is a trap card!

Draw 1 card from your deck. Trap cards can be activated during your opponents turn.

Strategies and game play:

You could use this card to just add another card to your hand, but I play Scrubbed Raid so sometimes I need a throw-away on the field. Also, this could be activated when your opponent uses Heavy Storm or one of the many kinds of destruction cards, or just something to sit on the field in case you need an extra draw or want to see if you can get your opponent to activate something against it.

Combos with other cards:

Not too many combos I can think of besides Scrubbed Raid or something that forces yo to discard cards (if held in your hand).

Ways to counteract it:

Jinzo, and similar trap negating cards can shut this down before you can use it. Counter Traps can stop this after activation

It's a 1-for-1 trade off card that lets you choose when to draw another card, can be activated during your opponents turn, and it's not a hardcore lynch pin so you could use it for a discard cost if need be.

It's spell speed 2, and could be considered a dead draw because it just lets you redraw.

Labyrinth of Nightmare was the original card set, in Super Rare form, but since then this has been used in a few of the starter/structure decks.

Artwork and aesthetics:

I think the artwork is spot on, looks like a greedy jar to me!

Overall rating:

Overall, I think I will rate this card 7

I think the analysis is a bit poor, there are more things u can write down:
weakness: when the opponent uses appropiate he draws 2
royal decree
jinzo, etc.

Yeah, I skimped on "Appropriate" but I did include Jinzo and similar cards in my review as "way to counteract it" not in the weakness section, I didn't think it needed to be there twice.

I think for a person new to the game or someone who hasn't heard of it, this review gives all the info needed to help someone decide if the want to add it to their collection or not. Good job.
