Super Necrodragon Abzo Dolba is one cool looking creature. It was one of the creatures used to advertise DM-08 Epic Dragons of Hyperchaos. "The dragons rose, hopes fell." says the flavour text. This one of the creatures that the characters in the anime feared. Now the question is: How useful is this card? Well let's find out.

First I want to talk a bit about the history of the game. In the beginning of Duel Masters(DM-01-DM-05), dragons weren't that good. Okay we had Garkago Dragon who I liked and Galklife Dragon was decent. Other than that, they were just high powered cards with nothing special. Then DM-06 came out and changed everything.

This card would be best used in a Fire/Darkness or a fire/darkness/nature deck. I lean towards the former. He can be used to make a pretty beasty beatdown deck. He can be a real pain in the neck when his power starts to go off the charts and he's breaking 3 shields.

Strategies and game play:
I mentioned that DM-06 changed everything for dragons. This is undeniable and it was all thanks to a little guy called Cocco Lupia. Yes this guy helps you bring Abzo Dolba, a triple breaker, out in turn 4. Another set that made dragons relevant was DM-08. That set contains the perfect cards for using as evo bait. Melgars and Giland work best for this. So the idea in such a deck would be to bring out as many dragons as possible and aggressively attack. That's pretty much all you can do with this guy. Yeah nothing too extraordinary.

Strengths/Pros: )
-It's a dragon: Tons of support and evo bait.
-Powerful: Unbeatable by most creatures

Artwork and aesthetics:
The artwork is the real reason I like this card. After a while the card itself became underwhelming to me but the artwork still gives me goosebumps. This was one of my favourite cards growing up because it really looks powerful and terrifying. Looking at it feels like he's reaching out of the card to attack you. The flavour text is appropriate to the artwork more than the card itself.

Overall rating:
I am giving this card a 7/10. Yeah sure it's a really cool card. Maybe the coolest one in DM-08 but it really has nothing special except it's insanely high power. Cool card but Uberdragon Bajula is just better.

Actually you can put him out on turn 5 first.

Lupia hits the board on turn 3, you won't be able to have enough mana to play a bait and the evo in turn 4.
Not even with mushroom in turn 2, which would be the worst idea to play as colors.
Turn 1: mana
Turn 2: mana + mushroom = 3 mana
Turn 3: mana + cocco lupia = 4 mana
Turn 4: mana + bait (melgars/giland) = 2/5 mana used, 4 needed for abzo.
