This is the best and worst Ultra rare in the game based on its abilities and stats. The projection side basically is terrible. Not very good stats and not good energy. And no abilities at all. But if you manage to flip him, you basically win the game. There's not much anybody can do against him.
This is probably one of the hardest cards to use correctly. There are four requirements to flip him: Have baton of aa'une equipped to him, have him use rage of aa'une, win combat, and play calling of aa'une. That is a lot to do in one turn. In order for this to work, you must first set yourself up.
Strategies and game play:
Strategy: Flip him and win.
Combos with other cards:
There has to be combos for Aa'une to work. First, try to get Rage of Aa'une in your hand before you fight with him. Second, make sure you can cast Calling of Aa'une and any other mugic necessary. Third and most importantly, make sure he wins combat. Use whatever necessary. Lastly, make sure Baton of Aa'une doesn't get destroyed or flipped upside down.
Ways to counteract it:
Honestly, there isn't much you can do except all out attacking Aa'une with whatever you have. You must stop his flip at any cost.
If you can successfully defend and flip him, you win.
If you fail to flip him or he gets destroyed, you will probably lose.
Artwork and aesthetics:
The artwork for the projection side is ok, but the avatar side is pretty cool looking.
I'd give this card by itself an 8/10 simply because he fails by himself but with support can rock.
I have composed a deck for this card if you would like to take a look. Go to decks: Chaotic: and then find my name and the Aa'une deck should be there.
