[AUTO] Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):[Counter Blast(1)] When a «Neo Nectar» rides this unit, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to two of your «Neo Nectar» rear-guards, search your deck for up to one card with the same name as each of those units, call them to separate (RC), shuffle your deck, choose your vanguard, and that unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of turn.
[AUTO](VC): When this unit is boosted by a «Neo Nectar», this unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of that battle.
[CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a same clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)
At last, from the latest booster set, BT14 : Brilliant Strike,a break ride unit for Neo Nectar is finally arrived. The Rearguards Copier, that's the title I gave him.His skill 'choose up to two of your «Neo Nectar» rear-guards, search your deck for up to one card with the same name as each of those units, call them to separate (RC)' have brought Neo Nectar to a whole new level.
The ability to superior call rearguards is really a big help whenever you don't have enough firepower to inflict damages to your opponent and also whenever you don't have enough cards to guard.Superior call one rearguard is okay but TWO is just Amazing, what's more, you got to choose what cards to be superior called and last but not least all above are just for a CB,it couldn't get any amazing, could they?
Strategies and game play:
You could get a full field when this card is rode.Having two rearguards (G1 and G2/3)recommended on your field before ride on this card is a way to fully optimize this card's skill. With this card, you got to be offensive and defensive at the same time.
Combos with other cards:
Combo 1 : Arboros Dragon, Sephirot
[CONT](VC) Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage): All of your «Neo Nectar» get "[CONT](VC/RC): During your turn, if you have a unit with the same name as this unit on your (VC) or (RC), this unit gets [Power]+3000.".
Sadly, this is the only card card that can give an advantage if you have vanguards or rearguards that have the same name.Anyway, after you ride this card, your both column will both be filled by the rearguards that have the same name. Therefore,Sephirot's LB will give each of them 3k power, which is a combined of 6k power on both column, your rearguards will sure hit hard and your opponent surely have problem in guarding.
Combo 2 : Wisteria's Maidens
This combo will tell you how to get two rear guards on you field before riding on Wisteria and how to avoid them being attacked that will cause the Wisteria's skill effectiveness to be minimized.
Maiden of Cherry Bloom
[AUTO](VC/RC):[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)] When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, if you have a «Neo Nectar» vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck up to one card named "Maiden of Cherry Stone", call it to (RC) as [Rest], and shuffle your deck.
Maiden of Cherry Stone
[AUTO](RC):[Put this unit on top of your deck] When an attack hits a vanguard during the battle that this unit boosted, if you have a «Neo Nectar» vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck up to one card named "Maiden of Cherry Bloom", call it to (RC) as [Rest], and shuffle your deck.
To get this combo works, you must get Bloom's attack to hit and of course being boosted by Stone. The key is where to put Bloom(Stone surely at the back-row) when she is superior called, and as she is a G2 you must thought (front-row,of course) but in fact, the perfect place is at the back-row so she can avoid being the target of your opponent's rearguards or even vanguard next turn,so when you break ride,Bloom and Stone can be chosen for the Wisteria's skill and there, you got two identical rearguards column and with Sephirot's LB,it's just WOW!!
Combo 3 : Knights of Neo Nectar
This combo is just a bit different from Combo 2.
Knight of Harvest, Gene
[AUTO](RC):[Put this unit on the top of your deck] When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, if you have a «Neo Nectar» vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to two cards named "Knight of Verdure, Gene", call them as [Rest] to separate (RC), and shuffle your deck.
Similar to Combo 2,you must get this unit attack with a boost from any G1 to hit
vanguard,so you can superior call 2 Knight of Verdure, Gene and similar to combo 2,the key
is the placement of the cards, and the best way is that you must place them at the same
column.Looks like don't make sense, huh?I'm guessing the question that is in your head right
now, must be WHY??.The answer is already in Combo 2(to avoid from being attacked)
and the Knight of Verdure, Gene that is in the front-row can be use to intercept your
opponent's attack next turn so you have room for the superior calling in your next turn.In
your next turn, break ride and choose Knight of Verdure, Gene and the G1 that have boosted
Knight of Harvest, Gene and again you got two identical rearguards column and not to
mention with Sephirot's LB,you will sure hit hard.
Ways to counteract it:
1. The key to counteract these combos is just guard Bloom's and Knight of Harvest, Gene's attack so they skills that are the keys to above combos cannot be put into action.
2. As usual,Narukami,Kagero and Link Joker will have no problem against these combos. They just simply retire/lock the key cards for the combos and 'problem solved'.
3.Keep your opponent damage at 3 and hope for a deck-out.
1.Decrease the usage of your cards in your hand.Bigger hands mean better guarding.
2.Helps you build enough firepower to bring your enemy down.Sephirot and Wisteria is just awesome.
3.Cheap cost.Helps build enough firepower, helps in guarding and also provides full field just for a CB.It made my day.
4.His second skill can make him reach 13k easily so it can hit your opponent's vanguard easily even it's a cross ride.
1.Situational.You must get Blossom and Stone or Knight of Harvest, Gene before you break ride.If not,you can just call any G1 or G2/G3 but then your G2/G3 are exposed to attacks from your opponent.
2.As I stated earlier,Narukami,Kagero and Link Joker is a pain in the ass. They are undeniably a total counter to above combos.
3,Sadly,this card is not a Musketeer as Musketeers have rgs that have great combos with this card(thanks, reiz)
As it a new card, there are just only 1 variation. That is Japanese version.
Artwork and aesthetics:
The artwork fits the clan nature. It looks like Wisteria practicing sword in a forest and his body look like its made from trees and leaves.Cool.
Overall,I give this card a 8/10 rating.
