if you are a fiend type user, you may be familiar with necrofear.
She is a very powerful card indeed, and if you set it face down in defense position , your opponent won't know what's coming. After she's destroyed in battle, you can take control of your opponents monster, so, if your in the "aw *, he has the wicked eraser on the field" scenario (or something within that area of panic) take it over and flip the game.
If your worried about traps and spells your fuddy duddy opponent decided to set to strategize your grisly demise, back necrofear up with mst, negate trap, etc. and you'll be fine.
It's hard to fight, but compulsory evacuation device may come in handy, and a few mst's should do the trick, if your field is bare and your devious trap card was mst'd or something to that effect, then you just lost...
Pros of dark necrofear: good defense stat, controll ability, and if you are running a fiend deck, relatively easy summon.
Cons: if your opponent plays cumpolsory evacuation device and negate the summon, enemy controller or change of heart to take it back.
I have only seen 2 variations, a limited edition foil, and plain foil with shiny letters
Dark necrofear looks very peculiar, it's blue skinned with a red glove thingie mobobber, metallic ribs poking out of its ribs, and it's holding a creepy doll with a busted head, don't look
Now but it's RIGHT BEHIND YOU, WATCHING....
I give this card a solid 8.5
