Back to top   o7corners Subject:    Posted: November 9, 2010 10:41 pm Hi, digi Thanks for rating me a while back in return for your rating, btw Just dropped by to let you know that, according to the current rulings, you can't use your earth hex sealed fusion to summon your evil heroes. That's only with the second effect of the hex sealed though. The first effect is perfectly legal to use. I'm sure you knew that already, just making sure. Good luck with future duels. The reason you can't is because it says on the card "This monster can only be special summoned by Dark Fusion." http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Hex-Sealed_Fusion : This monster's second effect cannot be used to Special Summon Fusion Monsters that can only be Summoned by Fusion Summon, such as "Dark Paladin". As long as you use Dark Fusion to summon them they are considered to be properly fusion summoned so when they die you can still use reborn on them if that's what you worried about. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Monster_Reborn#Versus_Special_Summon-only_Monsters : Fusion Monsters are Special Summon monsters, so they can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by effects like "Monster Reborn" only if they were Special Summoned by the correct procedure at one time, and then sent to the Graveyard. If there is some other reason I'm not aware of just let me know. Back to top   o7corners Subject:    Posted: November 9, 2010 10:53 pm You can also use reborn on monsters summoned with dark calling because it counts as being summoned with dark fusion which is considered a proper fusion summon which means they were properly special summoned and then sent to the grave which lets you reborn them. Thanks, o7corners, but I did know that. The only reason I have The Earth in there is to have a Rock-Type monster so I can summon Dark Gaia.
