The idea of this deck is to rush out aggressive 2-3 size abominations in a 1v1 match and just reap repeatedly. Late game, you can stack up a large unblockable abomination with great mother and arsh, then use ares to double dip on the next turn.
You're going to want to drop your higher cost minions and any extra relics (other than staff of xipe totec) and by turn 3 or 4 at the latest, you should have a size 2 abomination. Use victimize to punish any blocking that might hurt your war machine from keeping up its momentum, or if they are seemingly setting up a dangerous abomination.
Subsitutions:
Switching Monkey's Paw to Sentient Heart. I ultimately chose to go with Monkey's Paw because it pulls deeper when you have no answers whatsoever in your hand, as well as screwing up your opponent's plans in regard to their hand. Makes it much less likely for them to spring a combat fate on you when they are holding a different section of their deck every turn. Sentient Heart is better if you like running Xipe Totec over Ares.
Replacing Ares with Xipe Totec. Xipe Totec with Sentient Heart is a frightening engine which can give the deck a stream of minions coming out every turn. A friend of mine runs the Heart/Totec engine in his Destruction/Corruption aggro and its a total beating once he has the engine going.
Unfortunately, Sangral City wasn't released, otherwise I would consider just drawing the relic that makes everyone draw an extra card. I think it might be weaker than Heart, but if you REALLY hate Monkey's Paw, it could be proxied in as a subsitute.
I need to do some more testing with this deck, its mainly in the conceptual phase and built off of a lot of experience with other decks (all corruption destruction) that relied heavily on engines similar to this deck.
Ultimately, this deck may be a little weak, especially if you are playing in a multiplayer format. Corruption/Destruction and Corruption/Greed are very consistent and somewhat similar decks in behavior. I think if there were more sets and a deeper card pool, this deck would be a quite viable option. What It currently lacks is the proper density of low cost aggressive minions to stack and reap. A Hatcheteer/Mecatl abomination on turn two can be extremely devestating, especially when your opponent can't make a blocking abomination until you slap down an Interloper or Neural Graft and a Staff of Xipe Totec.
