Pesuasion-only with defense, manipulation, and unit interference. I've been playing against this very well thought out Log/Sec combo deck at my local venue. Suicide Bombers AND Centurion Assassins are not fun to deal with at the same time

So here we've got 4x each of Persuasion's 2-cost blockers. The key is to get at least three of them in play, then start deploying ships and shaking up the opposing lines with control events. Influence-running missions get resolved - and Colonial One's ability get used - whenever they won't compromise defense.

decks should always be 61 cards. There is never any reason to have more cards in BSG. You need to pull those ex. priv. as fast as you can, as well as the good defenders and other key cards. the more cards you play with the hard that is.

Why Aren’t you running Astral Queen over Cloud nine? Its a way better card.
and 27 events!? whoa, I would through a Roslin in there and drop a couple of those.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Trimmed back to 61.
Cloud Nine is out, Astral Queen is in.

My current preference is for about a 50/40 to 50/50 unit/event&mission ratio, with emphasis on control instead of pumps. My own game experiences seem to support jvoodoochild's criticism of the opposite approach.

This deck should get played in this configuration tomorrow, then I'll see about adjusting the type ratios if it doesn't work.
