Trade Cards Online

This is an old deck that was type 2 at the time, and it won me a couple of tourneys way back in the days of yore. Total cheese, not sure how it will stack these days. In playing this deck it is vital that all direct damage is spent against the opponent. Do not bother with creature removal unless it is blanket creature removal (ala Earthquake or Pyroclasm). I've been out of the metagame for a while, but saw one like this recently here. There wasn't anything like it when I played it. I'll update it a bit later as there are some nice new cards that would improve it. I'm cobbling from memory, I know I had Pyroclasms in the sideboard, and I also had Thawing Glaciers in the main deck. I don't remember if Mogg Fanatic was an original component, likely not. It's something I added later. I don't remember what would have been there in its place. The idea is to burn your opponent, springing the Sandstalkers while opponent's creatures are tapped, using Ball Lightning when not, and when possible, and often Fireblasts were the finishers. This deck dealt lethal damage by turn four or five pretty much consistently. You figure two Fireblasts on turn four gives you eight points direct right there, and often, if it went that far, you'd be able to cast something before sacrifcing the mountains. I also had 2 Hammer of Bogardan, but my memory is hazy. I may have removed the Lightning Bolts due to them phasing out, and replacing them with Hammers and some other stuff.
