Obviously this isn't a playable deck; there are stage 1 Pokemon with no basics, and even with Energy Ark; is there enough energy for all these higher powered Pokemon?

Here is your Glacier Badge! ![]()
Those Pokemon are similar to Pokemon SP. They are basics...but their art shows an evolution. Pryce has some very weak cards. Extremely weak cards. So I decided to add Kyurem in to balance it out more and not just have an opponent beat me after 6 one hit kills. Pryce's Piloswine is a decent card if it gets heads on Super Icy Wind. Because after he is done, Kyurem will have already hurt Pokemon to spread Glaciate to them too. As for the Energy count in the deck, 18 is too many. I can draw energy whenever I need it with all those supporter cards I have. In a tournament people use about 14 energy or less now that they have Eel and Typhlosion Prime. One time there was a world champion with only 5 energies in her deck. Basically I don't care if my Pryce's Pokemon are knocked out as long as I get to build something back in the bench. I will try to swap the pokemon around when they are injured with Pressure System stadium. Regice is meant to just use its Pokemon Power while on the bench. One real card I can count on is Pryce's Sneasel. It can power up with Darkness energy and bypass grass Pokemon's resistances. This deck is just for fun and going along with the gym leader trend. Also showing people about VS cards if they've never seen them. I hope the pictures and information for these cards become available soon but staff is still on vacations. I might edit the deck later. For a real Ice-type challenge, wait for me to build the Snowpoint City Gym. |

I don't understand. Piloswine, for example, is not a basic Pokemon; it's a Stage 1 with the basic of Swinub. Unless they changed something, so that because it's 'Price's Piloswine' it's a basic? |

It is a basic Pokemon. Nowhere on the card does it have a picture of Swinub. Take a look at Pokemon * from the EX series; cards like Alakazam * are basic Pokemon and you can only have 1 per deck. From the Neo generation there is Shining Pokemon like Shining Gyarados which is a basic and does not need Shining Magicarp to be played. In Diamond and Pearl packs there are Pokemon SP. SP are the final definition of a Pokemon owned by a trainer. They have their own support cards that can only be used on Pokemon SP and you can even get away with using Team Galactic items on Gym leader's SP Pokemon because they are "Pokemon SP". - Pokemon * - Shining Pokemon - Pokemon SP - VS series/movie promotional cards There is a Lucario EX that is a basic. And cards like Pikachu are both a basic and evolution cards when played with their matching baby Pokemon. |

Oooooh. Okay. I did not know that. I got a little behind during the R/S/E up until the B/W, and was not aware of those types of cards. About the baby Pokemon though, I knew that. |
