I'm pretty sure lonely is worth it cause of its power and at 1 mana its a pretty good creature in darkness creature swarm/ rush decks.
Also I really doubt he'll reach the 6 mana to use terror pit even though terror is usually used in rush decks only for their shield trigger ability.

Well, chance for Terror Pit as shield trigger is very low. This is rush deck, and I don't have more mana than 3.

Lone Tear's cost is 1, so he is great in rush. In second/third turn.

T1 - Zabi
T2 - Animabelgis/Evolute Power

Not many decks can break 2 shields in second turn.
